Baltimore is suing Glock over the increasing use of "Glock switches" by criminals. The article fails to mention that such devices are wildly illegal to possess, manufactured illegally and in the possession of criminals already forbidden from possessing firearms. It is an example of the complete pointlessness of gun control.

Dead end lawsuit, just a reason to throw more money to lawyers who are political supporters and try to score virtue points while attempting to create a narrative.

This is so predictable. The city is such a complete, impoverished, burned-out warzone and the politicians who keep getting elected have no idea how to fix it, so they find an outside enemy - gun manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, snack food manufacturers, Walmart, whatever - to focus on as the source of the problem. Maybe they can continue to fool their voters into thinking that someone else is causing Baltimore to be a hellhole.

Glock is not responsible for what any person does to a pistol after it’s been sold.

How about ENFORCING THE LAWS?

How about throwing the person in jail for the 10 year fed sentence of posessing an unregistered machine gun?

In most cases, add on:
prohibited person in possession of a gun.
prohibited person in posession of ammunition.
Carrying a concealed firearm w/o a licence

Enforce the F*ing laws we already have. Put the people violating these laws, IN JAIL.

Problem solved!

If the enforced the laws they would not have any excuse to file these politically motivated lawsuits in an attempt to us lawfare to subvert and destroy our constitutional rights.

Glock doesn’t even make the “switch” that is the basis of the lawsuit.
The normal Glock part is replaced with an illegal Chinese part to make it a machine gun.

That’s like suing auto manufacturer for someone putting glass pack tailpipes on cars where it’s illegal.

so taxpayers could sue the state of Maryland because they modified their collection rules on taxes and spent taxes on things they shouldn’t be spent on? Sounds like a plan to me!

The city governments won’t care. It’s not their money that has to be paid out to the other side.

The City of Baltimore has released criminals for firearm crimes yet they claim a private company is to be held accountable.

The City of Baltimore has made the case against themselves that they don't consider firearms to be dangerous enough to incarcerate criminals who use them in their crimes.

Typical. Will take years to wind thru courts — waiting for someone to kill off present Fed admin.

Also wut the ‘Ell is “machine gun like”? there is a distinct line there. It is either auto or not. That is how bump stock was OK.
