I am watching the Democrat Party led (because they want Open Borders and existing weak laws) assault on our country by Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, whose leaders are doing little to stop this large flow of people, INCLUDING MANY CRIMINALS, from entering Mexico to U.S..... ....In addition to stopping all payments to these countries, which seem to have almost no control over their population, I must, in the strongest of terms, ask Mexico to stop this onslaught - and if unable to do so I will call up the U.S. Military and CLOSE OUR SOUTHERN BORDER!..

Harry Reid can rightly claim to be making history. If he passes health-care re form, he'll depend on a series of historic "firsts." It'd be the first time Congress had passed a major new entitlement program without bipartisan support; it'd be the first time it passed such a program without popular support; and the first time it passed such a program without knowing or particularly caring what's in it. John McCain complained last week that he had no idea what constituted the highly touted backroom deal that Reid sent to the Congressional Budget Office for evaluation. The No. 2 Senate...

    The Hutchinson News ^ | 8/15/09 | What's the hurry?
It is a time to slow down, not speed up. That is generally true with any legislation, but particularly with "health care reform." Who among us would not sue an attorney for malpractice if the attorney would enter into a 1,000-page contract on our behalf, without having read the contract? Would anyone reading this walk into any business and have someone place his or her hand obscuring a contract and continue to sign and obligate him or herself to something he or she didn't understand? One must ask oneself: Why is there such a desire to do this so quickly?...

Real Angry Over Real Estate Why a recent Supreme Court ruling has lots of homeowners hot under the collar By Silla Brush 10/10/05 Stan Dunn and his wife, Barbara, had just sold their home in California and were about to retire to the Buffalo suburb of Cheektowaga this spring when they heard the rumblings: A developer might tear down their new home--and more than 300 other nearby houses--in order to build a new complex of apartments, townhouses, and businesses to eliminate blight and boost the economy. And while town officials are excited at the prospect, the Dunns say they have...

'Hey, hurry up. You're holding up my men' (Filed: 21/11/2004) Once the fighting in Fallujah began, Toby Harnden was keen to prove he would not be a burden to his platoon. Here he reveals his life embedded with the US Army. The ground rules were simple, said Lieut Nathan Braden, as he read out all 12 pages of them to our group of embedded journalists. We were to bring no drugs, no alcohol and no guns. Especially no drugs, he repeated, his gaze lingering over the longer-haired photographers. US Army troops search for insurgents "If you have it, get rid...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Interest rates on U.S. 30-year fixed rate mortgages plunged in the latest week after key Federal Reserve officials said inflation would not be a major factor for the economy in the near term, Freddie Mac said on Thursday. Freddie Mac, the No. 2 U.S. home mortgage financier, said interest rates on a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage, the most popular U.S. home loan, dropped to an average of 5.83 percent in the week ending Nov. 21 from 6.03 percent the previous week. Fifteen-year mortgage rates also fell to an average of 5.17 percent from 5.39 percent last week, while...
