A lawmaker in Delaware has become the first openly transgender woman elected to Congress. Democrat Sarah McBride was the favorite to win the only congressional district in Delaware - which is traditionally a Democratic stronghold. Speaking tonight, Ms McBride said: 'Tonight is a testament to Delawareans that we are a fair-minded state where voters judge candidates based on their ideas and not their identities.' The New York Times reported that Ms McBride believed her victory was a sign that she had earned the support of voters by leading efforts to improve their everyday economic lives through measures like paid family...

Toyota announced Thursday it will no longer sponsor LGBTQ parades and events and will no longer make efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Toyota told employees it will no longer participate in the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index and other corporate surveys. Instead, it will “narrow our community activities to align with STEM education and workforce readiness,” the automaker explained in a memo to its 50,000 employees and 1,500 dealers. The change follows after conservative activist Robby Starbuck started a social media campaign highlighting the company’s prior support for LGBTQ events and other woke policies.

The Human Rights Campaign initially focused its report card, named the Corporate Equality Index, on ensuring that gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer employees did not face discrimination in hiring and on the job. Just 13 companies received a perfect score in 2002. By last year, 545 businesses did even though the requirements have expanded. But the scorecard itself has come under attack in recent months by conservative activists who targeted businesses as part of a broader pushback against diversity initiatives. Ford, Harley Davidson and Lowe’s are among the companies that announced they would no longer participate in the Corporate...

The home improvement retailer Lowe's has become the latest brand to scrap its support for Pride events and other diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) schemes in the face of consumer boycotts. Lowe's will stop cooperating with the Human Rights Campaign, a major LGBTQ group, and will no longer separate employees into so-called 'resource groups' based on race, religion or sexual identities, according to an internal memo. The company will also stop sponsoring parades, festivals, or fairs, and will instead focus on events related to its business, such as affordable housing and skilled trades education, says the memo. In recent weeks,...

History has its eye on us. President Biden’s decision to end his campaign was as pure an act of patriotism as I have seen in my lifetime. It should also be a call to action to the rest of us to continue his fight for the soul of our nation. The next 15 weeks will be like nothing this country has ever experienced politically, but have no doubt: This is a race Democrats can and must win. Mr. Biden has done a hard and rare thing. Serving as president was a lifelong dream. And when he finally got there, he...

Welcome to the fix. CNN was proud to announce that this was the first debate to ever take place BEFORE each candidate was actually nominated by their respective parties. The reason for this was to set the stage for Democrats to move to replace Biden with Hillary. CNN moderators did an amazing job of being unbiased. This debate revealed that Biden struggled to speak often, and his closing argument was really pathetic. My sources have been spot on. This debate was done EARLY to allow for this to take place to replace Biden. Some think the Democrats should go young....

CV NEWS FEED // A recent analysis by State Financial Officers Foundation (SFOF) Executive Vice President Noah Wall showed that the recent trend of urban crosswalks being painted in “pride” colors is likely not the result of spontaneous decisions by local municipalities but the work of a national LGBTQ activist group. Wall wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Monday that he noticed the surge of rainbow “pride” crosswalks popping up in cities across the country “and haven’t seen sufficient explanation as to why it’s happening, so I decided to do some research.” “Most of the news about these crosswalks has been...

The true scale of the number of medical trials using infected blood products on children in the 1970s and 80s has been revealed by documents seen by BBC News. They reveal a secret world of unsafe clinical testing involving children in the UK, as doctors placed research goals ahead of patients' needs. They continued for more than 15 years, involved hundreds of people, and infected most with hepatitis C and HIV. One surviving patient told the BBC he was treated like a "guinea pig". The trials involved children with blood clotting disorders, when families had often not consented to them...

Hillary Clinton was among a string of famous guests who attended the White House state dinner for Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife Yuko Kishida on Wednesday. The former U.S. Secretary of State was joined by her husband, former President Bill Clinton. For the event, Hillary fashioned a flowing purple and pink caftan. The fabric draped over the former Secretary of State with ease, featuring billowing sleeves and an ornately patterned design. Gold details were featured throughout the ensemble, blending the plum and pink hues together in seamless fashion. Hillary completed the look with pointed-toe shoes and accessorized...

The Department of Education is opening an investigation into whether the Oklahoma school district where the late 16-year-old transgender student Nex Benedict attended high school failed to appropriately respond to sex-based harassment, according to a letter obtained by NBC News on Friday. The letter was addressed to the Human Rights Campaign, the country's largest LGBTQ rights group, which had filed a complaint with the department following Benedict's Feb. 8 death. Benedict died a day after engaging in a fight with three other students in a school bathroom at Owasso High School, in a case that has drawn intense media attention...

A top prosecutor on Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team recommended that the FBI shut down an investigation into the Clinton Foundation in 2016, despite ample evidence of suspicious activity related to hundreds of thousands of dollars in foreign transactions, Fox News reported. In his May 2023 report on the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation, Special Counsel John Durham identified Ray Hulser, the former chief of the Department of Justice’s Public Integrity Section (PIN), as the official who “declined prosecution” of the Clinton Foundation. Hulser now serves on Smith’s team currently prosecuting former President Donald Trump for alleged crimes related to January...

Democratic Rep. Colin Allred of Texas’ 32nd District, who is running for the Senate against Republican incumbent Ted Cruz in 2024, has partnered with and received donations to his congressional campaigns from a left-wing group that engages in transgender advocacy, according to media reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation. Allred, a three-term Congressman from Dallas who represents a suburb of that city, announced in May that he would challenge Republican Ted Cruz for Texas’ junior Senate seat. Throughout his political career, Allred has been closely affiliated with the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), a group that has advocated on a...

The railroad cars squealed to a stop where lines of police and soldiers stood by to receive the deplorable passengers. The human cargo -- nearly all middle aged to seniors -- debarked with their few permitted possessions and turned where the uniformed guardians directed. Those using crutches or wheelchairs took separate routes for greater efficiency. Some of the deplorable detritus still sported red hats rather than yellow stars. Welcome to Hillary Clinton’s Amerika. In a CNN interview earlier this month Clinton said, “At some point maybe there needs to be a formal deprogramming of the (Trump) cult members.” That sentiment...

Just when you think it cannot get much worse -- with lawlessness overtaking our cities, our southern border being overrun, and the president of United States declaring half of voting age Americans “a threat to the very soul of this country” -- unsettling bricks are being added to the wall of an emerging police state in America. We now learn that the Biden administration’s Department of Homeland Security has officially categorized Trump supporters -- the so-called members of MAGA -- as “domestic terrorists.” Additionally, the FBI has formed a secret task force that appears nonpartisan, but actually operates in unprecedented...

The House Judiciary Committee is having a hearing today on Special Counsel John Durham's report on the FBI's involvement in the Great Russia Collusion Hoax of 2016. Meanwhile, their Senate counterpart is having a hearing on the importance of "Protecting Pride: Defending the Civil Rights of LGBTQ+ Americans." Especially young LGBTQ+ Americans, whose very lives are at risk as we speak thanks to all the evil anti-LGBTQ+ laws that state legislatures are passing to keep little boys and girls from being psychologically and physically and chemically transformed into little girls and boys and to keep women who are biologically male...

Discredited FBI director James Comey has suddenly come out of retirement, touring liberal talk shows and promoting a new book that desperately rewrites history and gaslights the American people. The worst problem for Comey, however, is his track record of corruption — one so vast and well documented that no promotional book tour can fix it. Most Americans will never forget the congressional hearings regarding the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Members of Congress wanted answers, questioning whether or not then–secretary of state Hillary Clinton had failed to provide appropriate security for assassinated ambassador John Christopher...

Yes, the headline is just a bit hyperbolic, but only a bit. Pedophilia will remain illegal in Connecticut, but non-practicing pedophiles (do such people actually exist, or are they simply not-yet-arrested pedophiles?) may soon become a protected class in the state.I’ve written about the battle over changing human rights laws in Connecticut before, in two separate articles. The first is on the law itself, and the second is on a gay rights activist who has joined the battle to defeat the law.Well, the law has moved forward despite a significant battle in which even some Republicans have joined the radical...

Activist group the Human Rights Campaign recently declared a "National State of Emergency" for LGBTQ+ people due to the signing of dozens of "anti-LGBTQ+ bills" by conservative lawmakers throughout the country this year. The signing of "more than 75 anti-LGBTQ+ bills" in "this year alone" has prompted the emergency declaration, encouraging millions of LGBTQ individuals to remain alert and on edge for political persecution. In addition to the strong language, such as the claim that the LGBTQ+ community is "in danger" thanks to these bills, HRC’s emergency announcement also included a detailed chart denoting which of the 50 states have...

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Human Rights Campaign declared a state of emergency for LGBTQ+ people in the U.S. on Tuesday and a released “a guidebook for action” summarizing what it calls discriminatory laws in each state, along with “know your rights” information and health and safety resources. Sounding the alarm about the current political environment, the nation’s largest organization devoted to the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer Americans said advisories warning against travel to dangerous places aren’t enough to help people already living in so-called hostile states. The guidebook aims to help millions of vulnerable people, “whether...

Fusion GPS, a contractor that worked for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, reportedly withheld over 1,500 documents from Special Counsel John Durham. These documents were sought during Durham’s investigation into the origins of the FBI’s Russia probe. Fusion GPS cited attorney-client privilege in their refusal to hand over the documents, a claim that has been contested by many legal experts. According to the initial report, Durham did not take legal action to acquire the documents. On Friday, Paul Sperry, a senior reporter for Real Clear Investigations, broke the news on Twitter, stating, “BREAKING: Hillary Clinton campaign contractor Fusion GPS held back...
