'Corporations are finally getting the message': Longtime LGBT promoter suddenly losing influence
World Net Daily ^ | February 10, 2026 | Bob Unruh

The Human Rights Campaign long has been one of the biggest LGBT agenda promoters in America.

It assembled a ranking system and corporations jumped to meet its requirements in pursuit of that elusive 100% rating from HRC.

But its agenda got more and more extreme, and American society realized the down side of promoting the alternative lifestyle choices involved – many millions of Americans didn't support the ideology – and now the HRC influence is plunging.

Great news! I have watched this doxxing bully pressure more and more companies to jump onboard the queer train for over 15 years. I'd say that "gay fatigue" is playing a useful part in this decline.

The only good thing about businesses that post pride flags is it’s easy to know which to avoid.

I know that Exxon was a long holdout against the HRC’s threats.

Yep. It was exactly the same as Jessie Jackson’s Rainbow Coalition. In pink.

Sounds like globalist agenda promoters such as the “Human Rights Campaign” are no longer receiving money robbed from taxpayers via USAID.

People in general are getting tired of the leftists’ ridiculous antics and insane demands.

Yup—I remember exactly which local businesses had “pride” flags.

My boycott is forever.

My guess is the Corporations will eventually settle into a mindset of welcoming everyone regardless of politics. It’s better for them and for many people who are sick of being lectured by athletes, movie stars and musicians.

It wasn't a matter of whether to welcome people or not. The criteria set by the HRC required total obeisance to the queer agenda, or you got points deducted.

- Fully onboard with trans-surgeries covered by company insurance.
- Mandatory frequent employee training on "diversity" regarding all things queer, and how not to offend them.
- Full recognition of "marriages" between queers with all the benefits accruing to such.
- Hyper-affirmative action in recruiting, hiring and promoting queers of all persuasions.
- Mandatory homosexual celebrations through "pride" events during appropriate times, promoted to all employees.
- Strict speech codes enforced against offending ANY queer in the office, as a contractor, or as a customer, on pains of termination.

That's just small sample of their demands.

Yes indeed.

There was a Family Dollar in a conservative town I saw that put up in the windows a full “pride month” display of “pride” products a couple of years ago. I drove by it a few months ago and it was closed - apparently for some time as any trace of it being a Family Dollar were removed. It had been there a long time. Prior to that display being there I would occasionally stop in there to buy some things I needed but when I saw that it was the last time. I’m sure I was far from the only person, given where this store was located.

It is good news, less money and influence for their legal wing to use. And now companies will start fighting back.

As it used to be...and as it should always be.

Why it makes sense to advertise who you have sex with and how you have sex so openly has many issues - but one of them is the absurdity of it.

(let me fix that)

Why anyone thinks it could make sense to advertise who you have sex with and how you have sex so openly has many issues - but one of them is the absurdity of it.

Essentially, the same tactics employed by Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc.

Agreed. It doesn’t make business sense to me to pander to the freaks which represent a small percentage.

I’ve always thought it was less about business and more about how the officers and board members wanted to be seen in cocktail parties. Even that made no sense to me but if these guys hang out with leftists then it starts to make more sense.

The Human Rights Campaign got rich by lobbying for gay marriage for twenty years, sucking all that disposable income out of virtue signaling gays and lesbians. Then the worst possible thing happened! Gay marriage was legalized. They had to find another movement to keep the golden goose alive, so they jumped on the trans movement, even though many gays want nothing to do with trans rights. Finally, people are waking up to the crime that is transing kids and mutilating them. Hope HRC dies a quick and painful death.
