  • VIDEO: SEIU Mob Arrested After Charging Troopers in Washington

    04/11/2011 7:59:57 AM PDT · by blog.Eyeblast.tv · 52 replies
There’s seriously nothing more you can say about unions given everything that happened in Wisconsin and Ohio- that speaks for itself, and volumes at that. Now, in Washington, a mob of SEIU protesters were arrested for bringing their thuggish demeanor to the House of Representatives. Notice how they always play the outdated ‘victim’ card time and time again. Committing actions such as these then crying foul is not going to win over sympathy from anyone.
  • I Did Not Get Arrested Yesterday, Because I Blamed It All On my Wife

You know, a crazy thing happened to me yesterday: I was pulled over for expired registration while driving my wife's car. Knowing the reputation that Texas law enforcement has, I knew to follow my father's advice when interacting with the law: "Go Limp". That is, do not give attitude or even possess a whiff of obstinance; do not give the officer any reason to dislike you (my old man can be pretty wise for a liberal). And anyway, I am too old and my back too achy to take a beatdown, and I was wearing my nice slacks too (Dirty...

Authorities are searching for a tech-savvy mob of teens who used online social networking sites to terrorize a South Philadelphia neighborhood Saturday night, police said. More than 100 youths arranged via unspecified Internet-based means to meet on South Street near Broad about midnight, swarming the area and leading to a melee that ended only after the mob had hijacked a taxi, pulled a woman from her car and assaulted her, and ransacked a convenience store, police said
  • Rodney King Forgives Officers Who Beat Him

At first glance, VH1'a Sober House, like its predecessor, Celebrity Rehab, appears to be exploitative reality TV at it's worst -- stars hitting their bottoms and relapsing, going on drama-fueled drug binges. But there are moments on Sober House that are not only real and touching, they are even cathartic. In the most recent episode with Rodney King, the moment is downright historic. In this clip King revisits the site of his infamous beating. He forgives the officers who beat him and prays for the people who died during the riots. More than a decade later, Los Angeles is still...

BERKELEY, Calif. — University of California officials have won the legal right to oust a band of tree-sitters who've taken up residence in an oak grove standing in the way of a planned sports center. But how do you uproot a tree-sitter in Berkeley, one of America's most politically correct cities? "Extremely difficult," acknowledges campus spokesman Dan Mogulof. As the protest nears its one-year anniversary, plenty of people have suggestions: Fire hoses, skunk spray and tranquilizer darts are among the thorny ideas Internet posters have planted. So far, the university has moved cautiously. The university wants to remove dozens of...

On Monday, I told you about the moonbat convergence in Olympia, Washington, where children are being used as human shields by anti-war zealots trying to block military shipments to and from Iraq. The demonstrators continue to run wild. Their latest acts of destruction and sabotage? Pouring cement on train tracks:

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Police used batons to clear roads around the Port of Olympia and made one arrest during an anti-war protest in which demonstrators tried to block military convoys. More than 100 people chanted slogans, some protesters tried to run in front of the convoys and others dumped garbage on roads Wednesday night to try to halt the transport of gear for an Army Stryker brigade that recently returned to nearby Fort Lewis from Iraq. "We do everything at the lowest level possible," Bjornstad said. "We've had officers spit on tonight. I'm very impressed by the restraint used by...

Deputies carry batons, shields, helmets and mace. Caddo Deputy Matt Perguson doesn't expect the rally to get out of control. "It's suppose to be a peaceful demonstration and I'm personally going down there with that mind set." Deputy James Burnnett is ready to take orders. "When we get there, we're going to do whatever La Salle Parish and Jena police, Louisiana State Police want us to do." The group expects the demonstration to be a non-violent one. If it does turn violent Deputy Pamela Buyers says the group will be ready. "We know each other. We know how we work....

The memory of William "Curly" Hendershot is alive and well on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. Hendershot was the Dow Chemical Co. recruiter whose 1967 visit here sparked one of the most important protests of the Vietnam War era. A sit-in against the company that made napalm used in Vietnam ended in a bloody clash with police that turned many students into radicals. On Thursday, students plan to carry signs reading "Curly, off campus!" as they protest a recruiting visit by a company they see as a villain in the war in Iraq: Halliburton Co. Protesters plan to disrupt the...

Last Friday evening an oily substance that has proved extremely difficult to remove was splattered along an approximately 60 foot section of the wall, defacing panels bearing the names of the deceased as well as ornamental stones along the base. Mainstream media coverage has been sparse. Veterans immediately attributed the defacement to anti-war groups that have threatened the memorial in past months, have defaced monuments and memorials nationwide, and are gathering in Washington this weekend to protest the War on Terror. The outrage in the veteran community is palpable. In apparent fear of vets’ reaction, some who sympathize with the...

Standing Up Against The Anti-Police Axis By Ben Shapiro Wednesday, May 23, 2007 On May 11, in Franconia, New Hampshire, 48-year-old police Cpl. Bruce McKay pulled over a 24-year-old, longhaired ne'er-do-well named Liko Kenney for speeding. The two had met before -- in 2003, Kenney pled guilty to assaulting McKay during an arrest. Now, Kenney blithely informed McKay that he would prefer to deal with another officer. Then he drove off. McKay quickly followed in his patrol vehicle. About a mile down the road, he forced Kenney off the road, then pepper-sprayed Kenney to subdue him. Kenney then pulled out...

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Police Chief William J. Bratton said Wednesday that some of the police tactics used to clear immigration protesters from a park were inappropriate, as news videos showed officers striking people with batons and firing rubber bullets into crowds that included children. Images showed police hitting a television cameraman to the ground and shoving people who were walking away from officers at Tuesday's demonstration. Some injured people were seen in the videos, including a Hispanic man with a bleeding welt on his stomach and back.
