HBO MAX funnyman John Oliver listed two positive things you could say about President Ronald Reagan: “‘He was our only president to make a movie with a chimp,’ or ‘He’s dead.’” Oliver was sounding off on what he called “centrist Democrats” and their generally fecklessness response to Rep. Al Green (D-TX) being removed from the House chamber after her refused to take his seat and cease shouting at President Donald Trump during his Congressional address Tuesday night. The Last Week Tonight host took umbrage with the split screen of Green being booted from the chamber for grandstanding, when other Republicans...

Political activist Laura Loomer, a prominent right-wing personality, has filed a defamation lawsuit against Bill Maher and Warner Bros. Discovery’s HBO “for broadcasting with actual malice” suggestions that she “has committed adultery with President Donald Trump” on a recent edition of Real Time With Bill Maher, her lawyer Larry Klayman said on Tuesday. Klayman, a former federal prosecutor and former candidate for the U.S. Senate in Florida known for numerous lawsuits he filed against Bill Clinton’s presidential administration, unveiled the defamation complaint, arguing that the defendants were “broadcasting with actual malice that Republican female conservative activist Laura Loomer has committed...

When it comes to prestige and quality, a television show originating from Home Box Office, better known as HBO, is as close to a guaranteed stamp of quality as viewers are likely to find. Home to some of the most enduring, influential, and beloved series of all time, the American television network arguably has no equal.

Former President Trump issued a lengthy and blistering attack on Bill Maher Saturday after the late night host and his guests weighed in on the Republican presidential nominee’s recently claim that if he lost the election, “the Jewish people would have a lot to do” with it.“The ratings challenged Bill Maher, on his increasingly boring show on HBO, is really having a hard time coping with TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME. He is a befuddled mess, sloppy and tired, and every conversation, with B and C list guests, seems to start with, or revert back to, ME!,” Trump thundered on Truth Social....

"Real Time" host Bill Maher shared his own mixed reactions about Vice President Kamala Harris' CNN interview, offering both praise and criticism for the Democratic nominee. "I thought she did great. I thought she did fine," Maher began the panel discussion Friday night. "I don't know why we ever thought she was as bad as people thought she was. It was like Biden had that one bad night, she had a bad three years." Maher suggested that both Harris and her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who was also present at the interview, were ""Real Time" host Bill Maher...

A leading Democratic strategist has warned his party that Donald Trump's polling numbers could be misleading and they should not take them for granted. James Carville, who rose to prominence for helping Bill Clinton to the White House in 1992, said that Trump traditionally under polls, which should worry his party. Speaking on Bill Maher's Real Time, Carville said: 'I tell Democrats, some caution here. First of all most quants [quantitative analysts] say we have to win by three in the popular vote.

Late night host Bill Maher tore into CNN's Kaitlan Collins about the left-wing network's 'gushing' over Vice President Kamala Harris at the Democratic National Convention. Maher, the host of Real Time with Bill Maher, sat down with the CNN anchor on his show Friday to ask about the network's journalistic integrity, as she insisted the cable news network was objective. He mentioned the awkward moment last week when Stephen Colbert's audience laughed after he referred to the network as 'objective.'

While speaking with CNN host Kaitlan Collins on Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher said that he doesn’t blame people on the right for thinking CNN is biased against Republicans and stated that their coverage of 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris’ DNC speech was almost all “just gushing about how great a speech it was, and I think she did fine. I didn’t think it was as good as they were making it out to be.”

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher stated that he “can’t argue” with claims that President Joe Biden is sticking around despite everyone but him and First Lady Jill Biden knowing that he can’t win the 2024 election because Jill Biden wants to be able to hold on to power. After comedian Larry Wilmore stated that former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley’s speech at this week’s Republican National Convention was one where her head was saying the opposite of what her mouth was saying, particularly when she was urging people to vote for 2024 Republican presidential candidate former...

Please stop and spare a thought for those on the political left. Bill Maher has affirmed he was appalled by the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump but qualified it by adding others have been metaphorically hurt as well. He opened his Saturday comedy show by stating, “I unequivocally denounce [the shooting], I don’t care what you think about that. Not funny. I’m sure that there will be jokes that people will make because they hate him so much that they wished it went he other way. Not for me.” Maher then continued that Trump may be the political...

HBO host Bill Maher doubled down on his calls for President Joe Biden to drop out of the presidential race and predicted that the 81-year-old commander in chief would make the historic decision in August. “The issue with President Biden isn’t if, it’s who,” Maher said during Friday’s airing of “Real Time with Bill Maher.” “Who will replace him? Because he is not going to be the Democrats’ candidate for president in 2024, all due respect.” Maher believes that Biden is finished because the American press and politics are run by “mean girls” with a lust to finish off a...

Bill Maher ripped into the “aggressively anti-common sense” left and casually predicted a Donald Trump victory during an appearance this week at the Aspen Ideas Festival. Maher participated in a talk with English journalist Tina Brown in which he called out modern political tribalism and at one point ripped into younger liberals so much that Brown had to tell the comedian and Real Time host he’s “very cantankerous” as he continued on.Maher argued Democrats are doing themselves no favors ahead of November’s presidential election.“Part of it the left has to own. They are aggressively anti-common sense,” he said. “The Democrats...

During Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher warned that Democrats were headed for an election loss in November if they did not improve their position on immigration. According to the HBO host, a pattern had emerged in Europe that he blamed on unfettered immigration. Maher said the pattern would repeat itself in the United States. “By reviving Trump’s asylum ban, Biden has undermined American values,” he said. “And then they all stand back and go, ‘We don’t want to be called a racist. So we will not make a move on to immigration.’ It’s going to get...

Bill Maher is still a Democrat and he's probably going to vote for Joe Biden, if he votes at all, because of his Trump Derangement Syndrome. But the funny thing is, he keeps giving everyone else great reasons why they shouldn't. And he believes that Biden is going to lose, as he explained last week.

Bill Maher predicted an Election Day defeat for President Biden, despite reiterating his support for the president, telling tech journalist Kara Swisher that former President Trump is likely to rally enough support for a second term. “I would vote for [Biden’s] head in a jar of blue liquid over Donald Trump, but that doesn’t mean that I’m — first of all, I think it’s a moot point at this point. He’s going to f‑‑‑ing lose,” Maher told Swisher on an episode of his podcast.

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher argued that even with prices being higher than they were, people are economically better off than they were four years ago, but President Joe Biden is “too feeble to be the explainer-in-chief, to get out there” and make a case for himself. Maher said, “The Washington Post says, ‘Nearly Everything Americans Believe About the Economy Is Wrong‘. So interesting, 55% think the economy is shrinking or is in a recession, could not be more the reverse, half think unemployment is at a 50-year high, it’s 4%. Roughly half think the...
