I woke up last night around midnight CST and flipped through Fox and the alphabet networks to check the status of the election. I heard analysis on Cbs that credited the republican mobilization of evangelical christians accounting for the strong positive turnout (and potential victory) for GWB in Ohio and other states. In my semi-grogginess it dawned on me that this here-to-fore sleeping demographic may now be targeted for persecution and blamed for the Kerry loss.
