Russia ordered a senior diplomat at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow to leave the country, an “unprovoked” move to intensify a diplomatic dispute that American officials fear is sliding toward a major attack against Ukraine. “We can confirm that Russia expelled U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) to Russia Bart Gorman,” a State Department spokesperson told reporters. “Russia’s action against our DCM was unprovoked, and we consider this an escalatory step and are considering our response.” Gorman was ordered to leave on the same day that Russia gave U.S. Ambassador John Sullivan a written response to the proposals for security...

These traitors in DC ignore data…ignore evidence…and they ignore us…. as they take our tax dollars and send out kids to war. They demand we all be injected with an experimental ‘mRNA gene therapy’ drug that is less than a year old… and they’ve come for our children. We are unified in a resounding “Hell No”

I spent the first half of 2015 pregnant and then I had a “late-term abortion.” My husband and I decided early that year to try to start a family. I succeeded almost immediately in getting pregnant. There was obviously a healthy mix of excitement and terror. While it happened a little quicker than we anticipated, we wanted our baby.

Welcome to the "put up or shut up" phase of the 2010 election year. For years, we conservatives have experienced a steady dose of buyer's remorse with seemingly every Republican elected to represent us. Frustration and anger with the Obama/Pelosi/Reid three-headed bureaucratic monster but the seeds of crankiness were sown by a Republican Congress that spent money like a Kennedy kid on Spring Break. We now face a unique set of circumstances leading into the fall elections and have a pretty clear choice in front of us: do we keep running candidates through the GOP mill and hope they don't...

Like Sarah Palin, former Arizona State Sen. Pamela Gorman is a Christ-professing, gun-toting firebrand who took on the Republican Party establishment in her state and who is now under fire – both by her party's leadership and by a mocking media. Gorman is also facing an uphill battle in a crowded field of 10 GOP candidates seeking election to Arizona's third congressional district, a seat held by eight-term Republican John Shadegg. Included among her opponents is Ben Quayle, son of former Vice President Dan Quayle. A tea-party favorite, Gorman's resumé reads like a conservative wish list: endorsed by Arizona Right...

On March 10, parts of the Patriot Act expire again. Section 215, most famous for the alleged threat it poses to library patrons ... doesn't single out libraries but relates to official requests for "... books, records, ... etc.". The provision is not known to have been invoked yet .... To hear the ALA talk, librarians are the last bulwark defending our most cherished civil liberties against government assault. Yet two recent examples show again that self-anointed guardians of the public good can be very selective about the people, and rights, they choose to protect. One example came from Newton,...

Three Democrats and three Republicans are seeking to become Kentucky's top lawyer, but the most visible and aggressive campaigns for attorney general are by the Democratic candidates.

Experts say the May 20 primary battle involving state House Majority Leader Greg Stumbo of Floyd County, former state Attorney General Chris Gorman of Louisville and state Auditor Ed Hatchett of Frankfort appears tight.

Since the news and tape of Madelyne Gorman/Toogood's beating of her child has been made public, there seems to be much interest in posters that the mother was an Irish Traveler. I, myself, have done searches on the net to learn more of the Travelers or Gypsies in the USA. I have not found anything that is more interesting than that of the posters who have given their individual experiences with these people. But, it is so much fragmented in many threads. I am hoping that by starting this thread, Freepers can relate their experiences and knowlege of these people,...

Some local authorities will not refer to Madelyn Gorman/Toogood and Margaret Daley as 'Travelers' but a local expert on Travelers says from the video he's seen, he believes the women are Irish Travelers. There are an estimated 12,000 to 20,000 Irish Travelers in the United States, mostly in South Carolina and Texas. This is where it is believed Gorman and her family is from. Travelers live a nomadic lifestyle, moving from town to town in large groups to do seasonal work but they've also been labeled, by some, as scam artists. Most Irish Travelers in this country are descendents of...
