Three Democrats and three Republicans are seeking to become Kentucky's top lawyer, but the most visible and aggressive campaigns for attorney general are by the Democratic candidates.
Experts say the May 20 primary battle involving state House Majority Leader Greg Stumbo of Floyd County, former state Attorney General Chris Gorman of Louisville and state Auditor Ed Hatchett of Frankfort appears tight.

All we can hope here is that the 'Rats slice each other to pieces and Feeley can benefit from that (assuming he can compete monetarily). I can't name the last time the GOP held the Attorney-General office in KY. Here in TN, there hasn't been one since either the 1870s or 1880s (but the reasons for that are due to the convulated way in which they are "selected" and Republicans and even Conservative 'Rats need not apply).
