Russia expels senior diplomat from US Embassy as war fears rise
Washington Examiner ^ | February 17, 2022 | Joel Gehrke

Russia ordered a senior diplomat at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow to leave the country, an “unprovoked” move to intensify a diplomatic dispute that American officials fear is sliding toward a major attack against Ukraine.

“We can confirm that Russia expelled U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) to Russia Bart Gorman,” a State Department spokesperson told reporters. “Russia’s action against our DCM was unprovoked, and we consider this an escalatory step and are considering our response.”

Gorman was ordered to leave on the same day that Russia gave U.S. Ambassador John Sullivan a written response to the proposals for security talks that U.S. and NATO officials transmitted to Moscow last month. Those Western statements were themselves a response to the so-called “draft treaty” that Russia published in December, which called for a practical contraction of NATO at the expense of the countries that joined the alliance after gaining independence from the late Soviet Union.

Did they allow Sullivan to keep his clothes, or did he leave naked?

Brandon’s handlers are all in on making Russia go to war. Beginning to think it is one of the lynchpins in their “great reset” plan

Obama expelled them all....even out of the house the Russians owned in DC....during the ongoing Hillary Fiasco of course.

I'm sure she sent Obama a thank you note.

Biden: “They kicked our diplomat out! Horrors! Invasion incoming! Millions dead, dominoes falling, Eastern Europe gone!”

He needs to go on TV now to warn the American people.

Yeah, we can start with the ones working for Hillary Clinton, move on to those working for Barrack Obama, then the ones working for Joe Biden, followed by those working for the Democrat National Committee, and maybe the ones working with Christopher Steele, MI6, the Aussie Ambassador and Five Eyes.

When Trump was in charge, we were pro-active. The Biden admin is entirely reactive. Bad place to be. They are three steps behind all our adversaries.

Yes. We felt so relieved and calm. She was solving it like she did with our Southern border.

But now this.

Biden’s got a good mind to ring Putin’s doorbell and run.

Blinken just laid out all of Russia’s war strategy. Who they hit and when.

Not so much. This is to cover for a bad deal that essentially cedes Ukraine to Russia and for all purposes weakens NATO to a rump organization. Germany and France want cheap Russian energy, and Germany can’t defend itself. So they want to work with Russia at the expense of the NATO alliance. Biden haven’t done any negotiations, but needs to take credit once putin “backs down”. Meanwhile Zalenski will be tossed at some point in the near future and Russia will run Ukraine again, without an invasion. In fact Russia will get to deploy 30,000 troops on Ukrainian territory, and the Party of Regions and the Communist Communist of Ukraine will be allowed again.

He sure will, just as soon as Hunter receives this month's payment from the Ukrainians.

Apparently our “administration” and the media tried their best to make that happen and failed.
