Tired of being on platforms and long for days when we all had web sites and pages. Is there a way to have communication via personal websites. I miss being able to visit the many sites available when the web young and people were interesting. I remember the rings. However is there a way to have a bit more functionality and be able to communicate via sites without cookie cutters platforms?

GeoCities web hosting has been around since the very early days of the internet and while it’s not widely used anymore, it’s name still arouses a fond memory in the minds of early adopters. Every once in awhile, a long-dead GeoCities site will even crop up in search results. Yahoo, the current owner of GeoCities, has decided to finally put the sites and the entire service to rest, announcing that GeoCities will cease to function on October 26, 2009.

Over the past 4 days, Yahoo GeoCities has been contacted by many Jewish groups and individuals concerned by the explicit targeting of "jewish people living inside israel" by this pro-palistinian website. He provided a link to a page of Jewish emails collected from the web which he intends to launch cyber attacks. Apparently, Yahoo does not enforce it's own Terms of Service ("TOS") .
