Tired of being on platforms and long for days when we all had web sites and pages.

Is there a way to have communication via personal websites. I miss being able to visit the many sites available when the web young and people were interesting.

I remember the rings. However is there a way to have a bit more functionality and be able to communicate via sites without cookie cutters platforms?

If I still rode trains, I’d be tired of being on platforms too.

I had my own web page in the 1990s.

It was a lot of work to maintain it—and once I realized that Jim Robinson did it better I closed up shop.

This is a nice platform.

However websites were great. Many people had individual ones and businesses ones. I still have an old business one

I remember “rings.” It was a fun way to explore and discover new sites. Nowadays everyone wants you to download their crappy app.

Your problem is the internet bubble happened.
The dotcom bubble was a rapid rise in U.S. technology stock equity valuations fueled by investments in Internet-based companies during the bull market in the late 1990s. The value of equity markets grew exponentially during this period, with the technology-dominated Nasdaq index rising from under 1,000 to more than 5,000 between the years 1995 and 2000. Things started to change in 2000, and the bubble burst between 2001 and 2002 with equities entering a bear market.

Hmmm...
I’m still trying to figure out how to get a fat-free chicken soup...
At 90, if I get a cold and need chicken soup, I’m in trouble with what my wife makes for me...
