Russia says Ukraine has launched an overnight drone attack targeting Moscow for the second night in a row. All four of the capital's major airports have been closed temporarily to ensure safety, Russia's aviation watchdog Rosaviatsia said on Telegram. Moscow's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, said on social media at least 19 Ukrainian drones had been destroyed before they reached the city "from different directions". He said some of the debris had landed on one of the key highways into the city, but there were no casualties. Ukraine has not yet commented on the reports

I am sorry, but if you believe the newest death of OBL, you're stupid. Just think to yourself--they paraded Saddam's dead sons around to prove they were dead--why do you suppose they hastily buried this version of OBL at sea? This lying, murderous Empire can only exist with your brainwashed consent--just put your flags away and THINK!

Friday, 3:28 AM Why am I so angry that public radio and Newsweek used the terms rock star and rock-star presence to describe Illinois Sen. Barack Obama? Because it is false and demeaning. There is nothing wrong with being a rock star if that's what you are, but Obama is not. He is, rather, a serious politician running for high office. Also, I am tired of hearing that the media are liberal. In 2000, the corporate media, with help from the voters and the U.S. Supreme Court, elected George W. Bush president. Al Gore was too wooden, and wouldn't you...

(A little change of format in this edition of the DUmmie FUnnies... In yesterday's EDITION of the DUmmie FUnnies I noted that John Edwards' 6 year-old son had to be carefully taught to make fun of poorer kids for wearing shoes sold at Wal-Mart. I suggested that a certain Lutheran songmeister write a song parody on this theme based on the tune of You've Got To Be Carefully Taught from the musical play, "South Pacific." I was referring, of course, to Charles Henrickson, a Lutheran minister from St. Louis who has a penchant for writing song parodies, the number...

Reader Debbie writes in to say: “Can you check this out? This went on during the hearing today. “KERRY: ‘30sec. Mr. Chairman. This is reading from Mr. Flightses(sp) interview where he says did Otto Reich(sp) share his belief that Fulton Armstrong should be removed from this position, the answer is yes. Did John Bolton share that view? Mr. Flights said ‘Yes’” “When Bolton comes back he says Mr. SMITH right away.” “They have been using the name Smith all day to keep the agents identity secret. If so, is Mr. Armstrong the Mr. Smith they have been referring to, and...

Freeper Registered's Iraqi gag bill is being handed out on the streets of Baghdad. MSNBC reporter just held one up printed in monochrome and said that he was given this by an Iraqi down in the square. I was too slow to get a screen cap of this.
