Last week, a candidate, standing for appointment to the Supreme Court of the United States of America, who was under consideration specifically because she is a woman, refused to provide a definition for the word, "woman," when asked for one.

As reported earlier this week, the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Washington, DC, passed a resolution to stop using masculine pronouns for God in future updates to its Book of Common Prayer. The resolution to "avoid the use of gendered pronouns for God" was passed quickly by delegates to the Diocese's 123rd Convention. To be sure, this is not the first group to move in the direction of "gender-inclusive" language when it comes to the deity.

According the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF), which published an LGBT glossary of more than 250 terms, the belief that there are only two genders — male and female — should be treated as "genderism." The guide, which was published as part of the DCF’s Safe Harbors Project and was last updated July 7, defines "genderism" as: "The system of belief that there are only two genders (men and women) and that gender is inherently tied to one’s sex assigned at birth. It holds cisgender people as superior to transgender people, and punishes or excludes those who don’t...

For the Left, however, "discrimination training" is a rather one-sided affair. Christians have certain beliefs with regard to same-sex marriage, yet when it comes to an accommodation for those beliefs Christians must accommodate homosexuals.
