The deadly shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory parade that killed one and injured nearly two dozen was the result of a personal dispute that exploded into violence – and cops have detained three people who may be at fault, authorities said Thursday. Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves emphasized that the Wednesday afternoon attack on the west side of the city’s landmark Union Station had nothing to do with homegrown terrorism or violent extremism. A Washington State inmate was sentenced to an additional 24 years for murdering his cellmate - a convicted child rapist who had abused his minor sister. Shane Goldsby, 26, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges, and was sentenced last week for beating his cellmate Robert Munger, 70, to death in June 2020. Munger was serving a 43-year prison sentence at the Airway Heights Correctional facility on multiple child molestation and child pornography charges, when Goldsby was assigned to his cell. Police shot and killed an unarmed teen who ran away from a traffic stop Tuesday night in East Pittsburgh, authorities said. As Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies were shooting at a pit bull that was charging at them, a 17-year-old boy was apparently struck in the chest by one of the bullets and died, the sheriff's office said....The deputies went to the back of the complex "in an attempt to corral the dog to prevent additional victims," the sheriff's office said, and as they walked to the rear carport area, they found a teenager on the ground who appeared to have been shot in the chest, the sheriff's office said. A Minnesota traffic stop turned deadly Wednesday evening as a police officer opened fire on a black driver. The victim, 32-year-old Philando Castile, died at a Minneapolis hospital, a family member told The Washington Post.
