Janaina Prazeres, a 35-year-old Brazillian model featured on the cover of Playboy Norway a few months ago, recently visited an unspecified Disney amusement park, where her look turned heads — though not in the way she intended. The influencer modeled her ensemble on her Instagram story for her 60,000-plus followers. Despite fully covering up with a long-sleeved sweater and denim-inspired leggings — much more clothing than her usual scantily-clad attire — online trolls are saying her look was too form-fitting for a family theme park, The Daily Star reported.

The top general in the U.S. military warned Thursday that not supporting Ukraine now would lead to a massive increase in future defense budgets -- and global conflict that has been avoided since World War II ended."If that rules-based order, which is in its 80th year, if that goes out the window, then be very careful," Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley testified to Congress on Thursday. "We'll be doubling our defense budgets at that point because that will introduce not an era of great power competition. That'll begin an era of great power conflict. And that'll be...

Chinese riot police have been seen training with terrifying giant fork devices aimed at controlling rioters by pinning them to the ground. It is believed that some of the crowd control devices are capable of emitting electric shocks in a bid to neutralise any perceived threat. The 8ft poles with U-shaped prongs on the top are being used by both police and armed forces in practice drills as they prepare to enter Hong Kong.

You hit the fast food drive-through a couple times a week, and your grocery cart is regularly filled with cookies, packaged doughnuts, ice cream, chips (and dip). But you’re thin. You run—a lot—and you’re not gaining any weight, so all’s good, right? Well, not exactly. Put down the chocolate cupcake and hear us out. While runners do tend to be much healthier than the general population, with lower rates of diabetes and heart disease, that’s largely due to a healthy diet rather than running regularly, says Sara Mahoney, Ph.D., chair of the department of exercise science at Bellarmine University. In...

Bitcoin slid by 10 percent on Friday after one of its lead developers, Mike Hearn, said in a blogpost that he was ending his involvement with the cryptocurrency and selling all of his remaining holdings because it had "failed". Hearn, one of five senior developers who has spent more than five years working on the web-based currency, said he would no longer be taking part in development. "Despite knowing that bitcoin could fail all along, the now inescapable conclusion that it has failed still saddens me greatly," Hearn said in his post on blog-publishing platform Medium. Along with Gavin Andresen,...

...Butt speaking of ick factors, did you get the latest email from Howdy Messina? I hate to see them come in, because everyone around here is required to fill them out or we get docked a half day’s pay. The latest was really, really long, because the big brains are getting a little panicky and are hustling around to figure out what happened to all the Obots out there. Last time around all they had to do was put out word that they needed money and boots on the ground, and the ‘bots complied. Now it’s like pulling ticks off...

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. --Does a fork or dinner knife pose an unacceptable danger to President Barack Obama? One wouldn’t think so, given the hundreds of lunches and dinners he’s attended ranging from state dinners to political fundraisers to run-of-the-mill stops on the rubber-chicken circuit. However, at one such lunch Friday afternoon, guests heard an unusual announcement that they needed to hand over their silverware for security reasons. “It’s very important that you use your utensils as soon as possible,” National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials board member Raquel Regalado told about 1000 delegates at the group’s annual...

Will President Obama’s Thursday address be the worst speech ever? Kevin Hassett almost thinks so: It might be that this jobs report stimulates the Obama team to drop all the Keynesian nonsense, but I doubt it. Frankly, I expect Obama’s jobs speech to be the worst presidential speech in my lifetime. I don’t know how old Kevin is, but my lifetime stretches back to Jimmy Carter’s “malaise†speech of 1979. The Washington Post‘s David Nakamura remembers it, too: Obama is not Carter. But when asked if there were historical parallels between the high stakes Obama is facing in his...

HILLARY Clinton's campaign overnight predicted a rapid end to the Democratic White House race next month as the press read the last rites to her quest to be the first woman president. With more party elders drifting to Barack Obama's camp and the media declaring the nominating battle all but over, Senator Clinton aides battled back with appeals for voters to be heard and for new donors to come forward. Even as he vowed no surrender from the former first lady, Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe said party bosses known as "superdelegates" would coalesce behind a candidate once the final...

"A jury on Friday said Southwest Airlines did not racially discriminate against an overweight passenger when she was asked to buy a second seat on her flight." "The jury deliberated for a little over an hour before finding against Nadine Thompson, who sued Southwest in federal court. She claimed that she was singled out because she is black and that the airline’s "customer of size" policy was unfairly applied to her after she boarded a flight at Manchester Airport in June 2003." " Southwest’s policy states that a "customer of size" is someone who can’t sit in a seat without...
