Day in and day out our hands and feet take a beating. Out of all our body parts they are perhaps the most used ones, making problems and issues that develop with them inevitable. Feet in particular are often overlooked and many of us will have to deal with calluses, cracked heels, toenail fungus, and dead skin at some point in our lives. I am sure that most of the readers have seen that Islamic foot washing basins have been added to various airports such as the Indianapolis airport and the Kansas City airport. Universities that have installed them include the Minneapolis Community and Technical College and the University of Michigan in Dearborn. In many cases public funds have been used to pay for the installation which makes this a clear violation of separation of Church and state.

The University of Michigan has been historically really good at two things; liberal politics and football. On the political side, it is appropriate that one of the most leftist colleges in the country is located in a state where a Canadian socialist ex-beauty queen Governor is the sock puppet of union kingpins, but the fabric of the universe can only take so much. Karma was perfectly happy to look the other way when it became school policy to treat student applicants like guests at an upside down paper bag party. It probably even let out a little guffaw of amusement...

The Kansas City International Airport has added several foot-washing basins in restrooms to accommodate a growing number of Muslim taxicab drivers who requested the facilities to prepare for daily Islamic prayer, WND has learned. The move concerns airport police who worry about Middle Eastern men loitering inside the building. After 9/11, the airport beefed up its police force to help prevent terrorist attacks. "Why are we constructing places of worship for them inside our airports?" said an airport official who requested anonymity. "Why are we catering to their rituals? We don't do it for any other religion."
