U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan – currently presiding over the Trump January 6th trial prosecuted by the Biden Justice Department – previously worked at a law firm that represented Russia hoax dossier firm Fusion GPS. During her time at Boies Schiller Flexner, the law firm also reportedly represented Huma Abedin, a key figure in the Hillary Clinton private email server case.

The James Webb Space Telescope is back to full science operations. One of the telescope’s instruments, the Near Infrared Imager and Slitless Spectrograph (NIRISS) had been offline since January 15 due to a communications error. But engineers worked through the problem and were able to return the instrument to full operations. “NASA and CSA [Canadian Space Agency] partnered to approach the problem as technically possible, using a detailed consideration of all areas of operation of the instrument,” said Julie Van Campen, Webb Integrated Science Instrument Module (ISIM) systems engineer at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, in a blog post update....

As many as three Hillary Clinton donors — including one who also supported US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — are among the prospective jurors for former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann’s trial. Special counsel John Durham’s team objected to putting one Clinton contributor on the panel after the man said he would “strive for impartiality as best I can.” But the prosecution was overruled by Washington, DC, federal Judge Christopher Cooper, who said the man — who works in public policy for Amazon and appeared to be in his 40s — “expressed a high degree of confidence” that he could be...

  • NASA fixes Hubble gyroscope by turning it off and on again

NASA Hubble's designers prepared for gyroscope failure by equipping the observatory with a backup. Unfortunately, when one of Hubble's gyroscopes conked out in early October, the backup didn't work as expected -- it was rotating too fast and hence won't be able to hold the telescope in place when it needs to stay still and lock in on a target. NASA has since been able to reduce its rotation rates and fix its issues by implementing an age-old fix for malfunctioning electronics: turning it off and on again. Back to science! @NASAHubble is well on its way to normal...

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard said the revelations that the Democratic National Committee rigged the 2016 election for Hillary Clinton underscores the need for an overhaul of campaign finance laws and a complete overhaul of the national party.Mrs. Gabbard, Hawaii Democrat, resigned as vice chair of the DNC in 2016 to endorse Sen. Bernard Sanders of Vermont in the Democratic primary last year and has been outspoken in her criticism of the way the DNC handled the election.“The DNC secretly chose their nominee over a year before the primary elections even occurred. This shines a light on how deeply broken our campaign...

Polls have been spectacularly wrong in recent years; Trump, Brexit, the UK 2015 General Election, all suggested that the Status Quo would prevail. And of course, they were wrong. This is in part due to how the polls are conducted, and the way in which they are often used as propaganda tools as opposed to informative data sets, but they are still a valuable tool if you know how to read the raw information. The Dutch election results announced today, show how wrong the pollsters can be yet again. It was in fact, only the very last exit poll that...

Having been on the side of leading several investigations, or as a member of a team charged with conducting them – usually aircraft accidents, the accidental death of a service member, or possible criminal activity – I found the process relatively uniform. The real meat of an investigation is the determination of Facts and Findings. These could be a lengthy list of what documents and actions were found during the discovery phase of an investigation. An example of Fact: A review of the maintenance records determined that the aircraft was released for flight per the applicable maintenance instructions. Finding: After...

It appears the fix for Hillary Clinton to be cleared of any wrongdoing or breaking the law is now firmly locked in place. POTUS, Obama has issued his marching orders...and, the FBI, the entire Democrat Party & the biased Obamabot media has morphed into full lock-step into absolving Hillary Clinton of any criminal charges in her "criminal" e-mail escapade!!! We shall see and find out, in the coming days!!! Sad!!! American, justice, freedom & liberty are dying at the hands of despots, tryrants & dictators. The FBI has no independent credence or honesty. It is just another tool to be...

  • Obama's trade package barely advances in razor-thin House vote (Rules for the bill final vote Fri)

The House on Thursday just barely advance legislation that would provide President Obama with "fast track" trade negotiating powers, overcoming the opposition of almost every Democrat and a significant block of conservative Republicans. The rule for considering these bills passed by a vote of 217-212, a vote that was only made possible thanks to the late decision of eight Democrats to vote for it, a rare show of support from Democrats who normally vote against Republicans at this stage of the legislative process. That Democratic support was sorely needed, as nearly three dozen Republicans voted against the measure. Passage of...

Would you leave a multi-billion dollar business up to chance? What if all of that time, emotion, and money has been wasted on a lie? What if the action on the field isn’t what it appears to be? What if you, and millions others like you, have been duped – outright lied to – by those franchises you hold so dear to your heart, all in the name of making an easy buck? Well, my friend, it has happened. And although your name might not be “Mark,” you have certainly become one to those running the carnival known as professional...

Not so much respect that the state should recognize their commitment as a legal marriage, he stresses, but respect nonetheless. “We live in a democracy, and regardless of our disagreements, we have to respect the rule of law,” Mr. Bush said in a statement. “I hope that we can show respect for the good people on all sides of the gay and lesbian marriage issue – including couples making lifetime commitments to each other who are seeking greater legal protections and those of us who believe marriage is a sacrament and want to safeguard religious liberty.”… Gay rights leaders said...

In the home stretch of the 2012 presidential campaign, from August to September, the unemployment rate fell sharply — raising eyebrows from Wall Street to Washington. The decline — from 8.1 percent in August to 7.8 percent in September — might not have been all it seemed. The numbers, according to a reliable source, were manipulated. And the Census Bureau, which does the unemployment survey, knew it.

Jean King, Bobby Riggs an 'elaborate mob setup' Tennis star Bobby Riggs, top, and Billie Jean King are shown in action during the "Battle of the Sexes" match in the Astrodome in Houston, on Sept. 20, 1973. The ultimate “Battle of the Sexes” — a 1973 match between the No. 2 -ranked woman tennis player and a retired male Wimbledon champion — was rigged so Mafia bosses could cash in on the betting, a new report claims. The incredible claims have been lobbed at the reputation of the late hard-court hustler Bobby Riggs, by one of his former country club...

Boehner: 'Vast majority' of House GOP wants to act on immigration; Pelosi points to support from 'Bible folks' After months of being told to hurry up on immigration, it's time to wait. House Republicans said they plan to act, but not in haste, after huddling in a closed-door meeting to discuss how to proceed on an immigration bill. While the chamber intends to proceed on immigration, Speaker John Boehner reiterated on Thursday that the House would not take up the Senate immigration bill that passed last month with bipartisan support. Several House Republicans offered their perspectives on the issue during...

After a long day of fiscal cliff chaos, the House will finally hold a vote tonight on the fiscal cliff bill passed by the Senate early Tuesday. The decision to hold an up-down vote virtually guarantees passage of the bill, which would extend the Bush tax hikes for households earning under $450,000. that the bill will pass. For most of the day, House Republicans have said that they could not support the bill without spending cuts, but by Tuesday night it was clear that GOP leaders could not come up with the votes to pass an amendment to add those...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH. So let's see. Martha Raddatz, who is going to moderate the vice presidential debate on Thursday night between Paul Ryan and Joe Bite Me, hosted Barack Obama at her wedding. She used to be married to the FCC commissioner, Julius Genachowski. Raddatz, Genachowski, and Obama all went to Harvard. (Who didn't in this regime?) Now ABC's doing everything they can to say, "Oh, it doesn't matter! Nothing to see here. What does that mean?" Well, how about she tell us who she voted for in 2008? And how about she tell us who she's gonna vote for...
