• Joe Biden’s Cabinet Nominees Prove His Unity Claims Are Garbage

Unity to the left means playing God and governing like kings and queens. In his first address on Nov. 7 to the nation after being prematurely crowned “president-elect” by legacy media, Joe Biden called for “a time to heal” and urged for “unity.” At his January inauguration, President Biden did the same. “With unity we can do great things. Important things. We can right wrongs. We can put people to work in good jobs. We can teach our children in safe schools. We can overcome this deadly virus. We can reward work, rebuild the middle class, and make health care...

But wait, there’s more — hidden charges! A company that hawks “As Seen on TV” wares like the Snuggie and Perfect Bacon Bowl will fork over $8 million to settle charges that it duped customers, sources said Thursday. Allstar Marketing Group promised “buy one, get one free” deals, but charged customers nearly twice what they expected with “deceptive” processing and handling fees, the Federal Trade Commission says.“This agreement returns money to thousands of consumers in New York and across the nation who believed they were buying items at the price advertised on television but ended up with extra merchandise and...

Apparently the only thing worse than promising a man will be eaten alive by an anaconda is for a man to not be eaten alive by an anaconda. Many viewers felt Discovery had pledged adventurer Paul Rosolie would be utterly consumed by an anaconda on his special Sunday night. After all, the show was called Eaten Alive and its official programming guide description told viewers that a man “enters the belly of an anaconda.”

As many as 70 percent of President Obama’s Twitter followers are reportedly fake. But that’s not all Team Obama and the liar in chief are faking these days. BuzzFeed reports that one of the women featured in the campaign’s “Republican Women for Obama” ad is … wait for it … a Democrat. Odds on whether lying liar Stephanie Cutter thought this was a good idea?

The Chevy Volt has been hailed as General Motors' electric savior. Now, as GM officially rolls out the Volt this week for public consumption, we're told the much-touted fuel economy was misstated and GM "lied" about the car being all-electric.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman is backing away from a key immigration proposal she advanced in this spring's competitive GOP primary after farmers and other business interests expressed displeasure with her idea. As she campaigned this spring, Whitman said she would send state and local officials into California businesses to look for illegal immigrants – her own version of federal immigration workplace inspections. But her campaign now says she would wait to act until the federal government institutes a "fail-safe" way for employers to verify workers' status – an effort that has been more than a decade in the making....

Akansas cage fights turn gay for new Sacha Baron Cohen movie. ULY 8--Lured by $1 beer and the prospect of "hot chicks" and "hardcore fights," thousands of Arkansans were duped last month into appearing as extras in comedian Sacha Baron Cohen's latest staged mayhem. Cohen and his confederates organized cage fighting programs on consecutive days in Texarkana and Fort Smith. Both cards ended with two male grapplers (one was identified as "Straight Dave" and wore camouflage) tearing each other's clothes off and, while in underwear, kissing down their opponent's chest. This man-on-man action triggered Fort Smith fans to throw chairs...

PHOENIX, March 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Today an Arizona consumer filed a proposed class-action lawsuit against LifeLock, a heavily promoted company that claims to protect consumers against identity theft. The lawsuit alleges that the three-year-old company defrauds customers by offering services it cannot legally perform, and by touting a $1 million guarantee that the suit alleges is wildly misleading. Filed in United States District Court for the District of Arizona, the suit seeks to recover money consumers paid to LifeLock. LifeLock, headquartered in Tempe, Arizona, uses aggressive advertising to entice consumers to sign up for its $10-a-month service which it describes...

...in last week's column, I expressed cautious support for the advertised elements of the Senate immigration bill. But the advertising is false. DMN columnist Rod Dreher asked an immigration lawyer what he thought of the bill. His reply: "This bill has no enforcement at all. It says, in effect, that no Y (guest worker) or Z (amnesty) visas will be issued until the following steps are taken. But in the meantime, provisional Y and Z visas will be issued, with exactly the same effects and benefits..." It gets worse. "If an ICE agent apprehends aliens..the agent cannot detain them. Instead,...

Queen Mary 2 Passengers Threaten Sit-In Sun Jan 22, 6:43 PM ET LONDON - Some passengers on the Queen Mary 2 are threatening a sit-in when the cruise ship reaches port in Brazil to protest a last-minute change in itinerary, the vessel's operator said Sunday. NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Dell Inc. is being sued for allegedly pushing consumers into high-interest financing schemes, as well as other aggressive sales practices, the plaintiff's law firm said Tuesday. The suit accuses the world's largest personal computer maker of false advertising and bait-and-switch practices, fraud and deceit in its sales and advertising representations, and breach of contract by unilaterally modifying terms and conditions of sales and financing. I recently read an article online stating that record company Universal is looking into starting their own music channel to compete with MTV. Apparently, the company is tired of giving videos to MTV for practically no cost, then watching as the channel runs episodes of "The Real World" and "Pimp My Ride" for hours on end. Warner has also expressed interest in a new channel. The whole point of the labels giving MTV videos is so they can gain exposure, but since the videos aren't getting much airtime, the recording industry is threatening to make MTV start paying for music....

The Portland-based Leatherman Tool Group Inc. was ordered to pay consumers more than $13 million after a California judge decided the company's multiuse tools had too many foreign components to be considered made in the United States. State Superior Court Judge Victoria Chaney ruled that the company violated California law by placing a "Made in USA" label on almost two dozen products that were largely made outside of the country. She said the label would likely "deceive members of the public into a false belief that the tools are wholly American made."

Q: I paid $896.12 to Creative Health Products for a twin-sized magnetic mattress. I charged it to my Visa. That was back on Nov. 20, with the promise of a 90-day money back guarantee if the mattress did not help with my health problems. The mattress arrived in December. I do not feel it did what it promised. When I tried to get in touch with the company, the line had been disconnected. I have since heard that this company is out of business. Is there anything I can do to get my money back?
