    Over the last few weeks, a number of drones have mysteriously been spotted over four air bases used by the US Air Force (USAF) in the UK. The unmanned aerial devices were first spotted on 20 November, over and in the vicinity of RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall, in Suffolk, RAF Feltwell in Norfolk and RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire. The unusual activity has prompted an investigation by the UK's Ministry of Defence (MoD) police. Earlier today, a Greenpeace hot air balloon today dropped 500 anti-war leaflets over the base where 14 B-52 bombers were on stand-by. Greenpeace said they contacted the base, police and the Civil Aviation Authority in advance to ensure there was no risk. Two of the 14 long-range bombers stationed at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire took off yesterday morning and flew for three hours.
