I woke up this morning thinking about the voice behind the golden EIB microphone, Rush Limbaugh. The voice that went out everyday in America. He was like a friend that you could sit down with for a cup of coffee. His humor and intelligent views were affirming and filled you with hope. The voice is gone. What a loss. We could tune into him to start every morning. I don’t think that I can really describe fully what Rush meant to us. There is a dark, empty gap where he used to be. Our Nation is poorer without his guidance and...

Two years ago today, Kathryn Adams Limbaugh went on the air to announce that America's Anchorman, the Mayor of Realville, the Doctor of Democracy, the harmless little fuzzball, her husband, the great Rush Hudson Limbaugh III, had assumed room temperature. (That means he died, for those of you in Rio Linda.) America is worse off for his absence. Nobody will ever amass the audience, have the influence, or have as much fun doing it as Rush did. There is no one like him, though many try.

Clay Travis said today he thought Trump should agree to support the nominee, if he(Trump) did not win the nomination. I think that is an incredibly naive position. Does anyone think the RNC is trustworthy? Would anyone trust Mitch McConnell to be honest and fair? The only way Trump will have any leverage at all is to not to promise to support the ticket if he is not treated fairly. The GOPe Republican Establishment might joins forces with the Democrats to eliminate Trump, or clandestinely work against Trump in the primary. Why do they call it the Uniparty?

I Warned You About What We’re Living Through TodayJan 7, 2021 RUSH: Hey, folks, it’s great to be back. Really great to be back, and I need to ask you a favor. I need to you to give me a few minutes here just to get my sea legs. This has been a very, very bad couple of weeks for me. I don’t want to get into any more detail about it. Those of you have been through this know exactly what I’m talking about. But it has not been a break in the sense that it hasn’t been restful...

Final Rush Limbaugh Show Segment Moves Me To Tears Jun 18, 2021I heard the first show in syndication. I was still in Dayton. It didn't take long to become a fan. Rush Limbaugh was a staple in my life for three decades. Today, the final show segment and the last "Open Line Friday" caller. Thanks for everything, Rush.

The Rush Limbaugh replacements are in, as Clay Travis and Buck Sexton will take over his three-hour conservative talk radio show time slot, said distributor Premiere Networks. The duo will serve up similar right-wing fare, tackling news stories of the day, politics and current events, peppered with call-ins from listeners and humor. Premiere Networks hopes the younger voices will bring something new to talk radio, while also continuing on in Mr. Limbaugh’s legacy. The program, slated to begin airing June 21, will be called “The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show.” It is expected to air around the country, from...

"In 1989 I took Rush Limbaugh's radio show off the air in St. Louis..." Jeff Long had his first "encounter" with Rush way back in the early days of his syndicated radio show. But there was more to come. Jeff would end up working in Rush's home town of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He would meet Rush in person but there's more. And at the link below what Paul Harvey used to call on the radio "the rest of the story"... So many memories of Rush that for me include memories of the music that Rush loved. He would play songs...

PALM BEACH, Fla. — Rush Limbaugh, the talk radio host who ripped into liberals and laid waste to political correctness with a merry brand of malice that made him one of the most powerful voices on the American right, influencing the rightward push of conservatism and the rise of Donald Trump, died Wednesday. He was 70. Limbaugh said a year ago that he had lung cancer. His death was announced on his show by his wife, Kathryn. Unflinchingly conservative, wildly partisan, bombastically self-promoting and larger than life, Limbaugh galvanized listeners for more than 30 years with his talent for vituperation...
