Two hour C-Span video of his morning local NY show from June, 1990.
Rush left a legacy that will both endure and expand. His detractors are kidding themselves if they think his passing is somehow the end of their nightmares.
We didn't get Rush in my neck of the woods until the early 90s so I never,with the exception of a few minutes in Tampa in '89,got to hear his earliest work.
I do wonder...was that news babe part of his early show? A "sidekick" perhaps?

Have been wondering the same...goING to be massive experience I would think.
Even then, he did the crumpled paper, the half my brain.., excellence in broadcasting, the update, etc. Everything that was so funny about him, was doing it 30 years ago!
ONG, thank you! I’d definitely recommend this video. It is timeless, really. A reference to Cuomo’s upcoming marriage to the Kennedy right out of the gate, and it just gets better and better.
