Elon Musk on Thursday said that his company SpaceX will begin decommissioning its Dragon spacecraft “immediately” because of threats by President Donald Trump to cancel government contracts with Musk’s businesses. Musk’s announcement, on his social media site X, came amid an escalating war of words with Trump that began after the Tesla CEO criticized the major tax bill being pushed by the Republican president. “In light of the President’s statement about cancellation of my government contracts, @SpaceX will begin decommissioning its Dragon spacecraft immediately,” Musk wrote. Dragon is the only U.S. option for delivering crew to and from the International...

Eh, this could get messy. Apparently, Steve Bannon was talking to media in Italy and said some rather confrontational things about Elon Musk. (CP) “I will have Elon Musk run out of here by Inauguration Day,” Bannon told the Italian daily Corriere della Sera this week. “He will not have a blue pass to the White House, he will not have full access to the White House, he will be like any other person.” “He is a truly evil guy, a very bad guy. I made it my personal thing to take this guy down,” Bannon added. “Before, because he...

Bysiewicz, and the Birther movement has another brief reprieve: Why is it that Justices Ginsburg and Souter have tossed junk lawsuits about Barack Obama’s...

Last night I did something that I have not done for a long time. I watched the entire Academy Awards show. Well, not quite, I did miss the “Best Director” award because I had to walk my dog. Labradors show no interest in awards shows. The reason I watched it was to see the performance of this year's host, Jon Stewart, a funny man, who's Daily Show has become, for me, a daily show. He was picked for the role because the show producers wanted to attract a younger audience.
