Durbin says Guantanamo should be closed by end of 2006 AP July 11, 2006 - Senator Dick Durbin said today the United States should immediately begin phasing out operations at its detention facilities on the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba. Title says it. What are your thoughts? I voted that Durbin ought to be removed from office but I doubt that they will do more than talk a lot.

The Anti-Defamation League has called on Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin to apologize for comparing alleged abuses at Guantanamo Bay to torture and killing by the Nazi regime.
