There are signs of the long-lasting military use of the civilian facility, Militarnyi notes.

Vladimir Putin is set to dismiss his intelligence chiefs following a catastrophic security breach, which led to Ukraine taking out 41 aircraft worth £1.5billion across multiple airbases. The Russian leader has been conspicuously absent from public view since Ukraine's successful strikes, with an insider revealing: "He will hit back at Ukraine, but also avenge his underlings who allowed this humiliation to happen." The FSB security service, led by Putin's close ally Alexander Bortnikov, 73, faces particular scrutiny over the intelligence failure, which led to 117 first-person view kamikaze drones carrying out the daring attack. Civilian lorries were able to carry...

An audacious Ukrainian drone attack against multiple airbases across Russia is a humiliating security breach for Vladimir Putin that will doubtless trigger a furious response. Pro-Kremlin bloggers have described the drone assault - which Ukrainian security sources said hit more than 40 Russian warplanes - as "Russia's Pearl Harbor" in reference to the Japanese attack against the US in 1941 that prompted Washington to enter the Second World War. The Ukrainian operation - which used small drones smuggled into Russia, hidden in mobile sheds and launched off the back of trucks - also demonstrated how technology and imagination have transformed...

Hezbollah's new Secretary-General, Naim Qassem, delivered his first speech in his new position today (Wednesday), but his remarks were cut off mid-speech. At the same time, a cyber attack was reported in Lebanon. Later, Hezbollah managed to restore the broadcast of the speech. "The question that is being asked is - what is the leader's plan of action?" Qassem said. "My plan is the continuation of Nasrallah's plan in all respects - political, cultural, and jihad. We will continue to carry out the war plan that we decided on together with the organization's leadership, we will stay on the war...

Speaking to The War Zone along with a small group of reporters at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, the commander of U.S. Northern Command (NORTHCOM) and the joint U.S.-Canadian North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Air Force Gen. Gregory M. Guillot offered few specifics about the incursions but talked about some of the steps NORTHCOM is taking in the wake of those incidents. “The only thing I can tell you about the Langley drones is roughly the number and roughly the altitude,” he said when we asked him about the exact characteristics and configurations of those drones. He...

Kim Dotcom @KimDotcom The US Air Force directed the ATACMS missile strike against Russian civilians today. This is an act of war by the US Govt against Russia. Did Joe Biden seek permission from Congress to start a direct war with Russia?

VIDEODoes anybody out there in their right mind honestly believe that Iran would have launched a drone and missile attack upon Israel if the 2020 election had not been stolen and if Trump were still in the White House? Instead we now have the feckless Biden regime which permitted Iran to spend billions on weapons. Under Trump they wouldn't have had access to funds to buy or build those weapons plus they would have feared the consequences from Trump if they had launched the weapons.

Has Ukraine finally given Russia some payback, given the air strikes now being rained down on Kiev? A first pass answer seems like it may well be. According to the New York Times:At least eight drones targeted Moscow early Tuesday, according to the Russian authorities, the first attack to hit civilian areas in the Russian capital and a potent sign that the war is increasingly reaching the heart of Russia. The assault came after yet another overnight bombardment by Russian forces of the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, which has faced a barrage of attacks in recent weeks that have put the city...

On Wednesday, the Russian government said that two drones from Ukraine had attacked the holy of holies in Russia — the ancient Kremlin — and that the U.S. assisted Ukraine in the operation. Here’s a video released by the Russian government appearing to show something exploding above the Kremlin. Astonishing footage of last night's drone attack on the Kremlin pic.twitter.com/3rghCHdIed— Francis Scarr (@francis_scarr) May 3, 2023Video analysis is not my forte, so I will not comment on the authenticity of what was recorded. But a drone being able to work its way through two or three layers of air defenses?...

VIDEO If the Russians had sent a couple of drones to attack the White House Correspondents Dinner while Biden was speaking there, would that have made Sleepy Joe more likely to order that charges against Julian Assange be dropped? Well, no more likely than the Russians are now more disposed to release imprisoned Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Dershkovich following the drone attack upon the Kremlin in an attempt to assassinate Vladimir Putin.Oh, and one possible side effect of such an attack upon the Kremlin is that it could lead to a thermonuclear war that could destroy all life on...

The United Arab Emirates has vowed to retaliate against Houthi militants for a deadly attack on its capital Abu Dhabi on Monday that killed three people, as fresh tensions in the region helped push oil prices to their highest level in seven years. Both oil contracts notched their highest level since October 2014 earlier in the day after a subdued trading day on Monday as U.S. markets were closed for a public holiday. Energy analysts have attributed...

Defense chiefs meet after suicide drone apparently targets Israeli-operated vessel near Oman, killing two foreign crewmen; Iranian media say attack was response to strikes in Syria. Meanwhile, state-owned Iranian news network Al-Alam citing "well informed sources," said the attack was in response to a reported Israeli strike in Syria that killed "two...

I’ll give you three guesses and the first two don’t count. Wait… you still need a hint? It rhymes with “rump.” Yes, Virginia Senator (and failed Vice Presidential candidate) Tim Kaine sat down yesterday with CNN’s John Berman to talk about the recent attack on a major Saudi Arabian oil refinery. Given all of the finger-pointing that’s been going on, surely he would be able to shed some light on things and offer a bit of clarity, right? Of course. And he quickly did, pinning the blame on Donald Trump for creating an atmosphere of war by continually “provoking” Iran...

Drone attacks on two critical production facilities in Saudi Arabia wiped out over 5% of the world’s oil supply in one go, eliminating the spare capacity of the entire globe. The attacks, which targeted an oil processing facility at Abqaiq and the nearby Khurais oil field knocked out 5.7 million barrels of daily crude production, a whopping 50% of Saudi Arabia’s entire oil output. “This incident effectively eliminates the world’s spare capacity,” said Sarah Cottle, global head of market insight at S&P Global Platts. The attacks led at one point to oil prices spiking by 19%, the biggest leap since...
