But here's where it gets even more interesting: are the tactics of the government really that different from those of the Mafia? Michael shares his firsthand experience with the inner workings of both, exposing corruption, backroom deals, and power plays that eerily mirror what happens in the political world. From tax schemes and money laundering to loyalty, fear tactics, and backstabbing, we break down the shocking parallels between organized crime and modern government. We also explore the world of sports gambling—one of the Mafia's biggest money-makers—and how its influence has evolved with legalization, corporate interests, and political involvement. How Trump...

Yesterday was a terrible, no-good, very bad day for the Swamp. Trump struck back in a coordinated assault on all fronts. He's not waiting for the courts to do the right thing—nor is he defying them.

Several inspectors general are out of a job after President Donald Trump informed them they were fired on Friday evening. Approximately 17 of them were fired without notice via email, USA Today reported on Saturday, noting an official who lost their job confirmed the information to the newspaper. The outlet continued: The inspectors general are independent watchdogs within agencies who investigate and disclose waste, fraud and abuse. Those fired Friday include inspectors at the Pentagon and departments of State, Veterans Affairs and Interior, which oversees marine oil and gas leases as well as Indian Affairs, said the fired official who...

Donald Trump's choice of Kash Patel for director of the FBI is sending shockwaves throughout DC. Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe went into complete meltdown Sunday as he whined that Patel would spearhead a campaign of 'retribution.' McCabe, who backed the Russian interference investigation into Trump, claimed that Patel - a Trump loyalist - would use the FBI to further the president-elect's political agenda and crackdown on his enemies. His rant on CNN went viral as people were stunned by the apparent hypocrisy in his criticism of Patel, while he has previously made wild claims that Trump was a...

President-elect Donald Trump says he will nominate Scott Bessent, former George Soros money manager, to lead the Treasury Department.

This isn’t to guarantee success, but it seems like we little people have little recourse when it comes time to President Trump’s administration contenders, except to expose them before they become official. With that in mind, let’s take a look at Scott Bessent, Trump’s rumored selection for Secretary of the Treasury; according to a new report at Reuters, Bessent is the main candidate now that billionaire John Paulson has withdrawn his name from consideration because of “complex financial obligations” that precluded him from (presumably) ethically serving in the position. Well, I neither trust Bessent to serve ethically, nor do I...

President-elect Donald J. Trump has made some picks for cabinet posts that have engulfed Washington in a frenzy of whining and misery. That’s all I need to know regarding the nominations—if the political class hates them, it’s good for the country. Yet, there will be some vociferous opposition to some of Trump’s picks, to which I say bring it on. We won the election. The president can make his selections. Let’s see what happens. And for Republicans who might be thinking about standing in the way, we’ll remember. The two most controversial are Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Matt Gaetz...

Morticia, who likes "the lovely bogs," labels the candidate an extremist. But Gomez assures her that all politicians do the opposite of their campaign promises. A federal judge ruled on Saturday that part of a Texas law that enacted new voting restrictions violated the U.S. Constitution by being too vague and restricting free speech. The ruling, made by U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez, immediately halted the state’s ability to investigate alleged cases of vote harvesting, such as the investigation into the League of United Latin American Citizens by Attorney General Ken Paxton. Before today’s ruling, a person who knowingly provided or offered vote harvesting services in exchange for compensation was committing a third-degree felony. This meant that organizers of voter outreach organizations and even volunteers...

The cliché about politics making for strange bedfellows may seem too tired to trot out, but The Babylon Bee reenergized it this week with their headline, “‘Maybe We Took A Wrong Turn Somewhere,’ Thinks Party Whose Candidate Just Got Endorsed By Dick Cheney And Vladimir Putin.” It’s almost as strange and funny as the fact that Republicans now have Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., in their corner. But as funny as all this is for those who have been around for a while, what these seemingly odd endorsements give us is a knowledge about how things are shaking out in this...

Hundreds of federal government officials have signed a dissent letter in rebellion against Democrat President Joe Biden’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war. Four hundred government officials from 40 departments and agencies within Biden’s administration signed the letter. They are opposing the president’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war and demand a “ceasefire.” The Tuesday letter was first reported by the New York Times. It includes officials from Biden’s State Department, White House, National Security Council, and the Department of Justice (DOJ). The signatories of the letter remained anonymous to protect against professional retaliation. The letter reads, in part: “We call on...

A number of State Department staffers joined with staffers from the Agency for International Development — 100 in total — in criticizing President Joe Biden’s response to the war between Israel and the terrorist group Hamas. Israel declared a state of war with Hamas after terrorists breached the border on October 7, slaughtering 1,200 Israelis – most of them civilians – and kidnapping more than 200, taking them into Gaza. According to an Axios report published on Monday, a five-page internal memo referred to as a dissent cable was “organized by a junior diplomat” and accused Biden of failing to...

Americans don’t have rule of law when their institutions are corrupted against them. Republicans aren’t “draining the swamp” unless they drain the FBI. Special Counsel John Durham published a long-anticipated report last week chronicling severe abuses of power by deep-state FBI officials who ran a years-long campaign to frame former President Donald Trump as a Russian asset. The 306-page report outlined how the FBI relied on baseless fabrications commissioned by the Hillary Clinton campaign to construct the entire narrative for its investigation known as “Crossfire Hurricane,” in which the Obama-era Justice Department conducted illegal surveillance on American citizens in an...

On May 17, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna introduced a resolution to kick Rep. Adam Schiff out of Congress. Luna’s resolution was introduced days after Special Counsel John Durham’s release of a report. This was concerning the FBI’s probe into the Trump campaign for allegedly colluding with Russia. Anna Paulina Luna Demands Justice Following multiple years of investigations, Durham determined the FBI should not have launched an investigation into the Trump campaign. In his report, Durham concluded that the Justice Department and the FBI failed to abide by the law with regard to certain events and activities. Schiff has been one...

The New York Times published a blockbuster report on Saturday that details massive nationwide child labor horrors taking place because of Joe Biden opening the border to unaccompanied children in 2021 after President Trump fought hard to shut down child trafficking. The children are working to pay off their debts to cartel traffickers and their sponsors here, as well as to send remittances to their families back home. The Times found children working in factories and plants of major American companies and their suppliers across the country. “Migrant child labor benefits both under-the-table operations and global corporations, the Times found....

Elon Musk has now purged roughly half of Twitter’s 7,500 employee base, leaving whole teams totally or near completely gutted, including those tasked with defending against election misinformation ahead of the US midterms next week, The Verge has learned. The areas of Twitter impacted the most by Musk’s cuts include its product trust and safety, policy, communications, tweet curation, ethical AI, data science, research, machine learning, social good, accessibility, and even certain core engineering teams, according to tweets by laid-off employees and people familiar with the matter. More company leaders, including Arnaud Weber, VP of consumer product engineering, and Tony...

The Astonishing Implications of Schedule F Two weeks before the 2020 general election, on October 21, 2020, Donald Trump issued an executive order (E.O. 13957) on “Creating Schedule F in the Excepted Service.” It sounds boring. Actually, it would have fundamentally changed, in the best possible way, the entire functioning of the administrative bureaucracy that rules this country in a way that bypasses both the legislative and judicial process, and has ruined the checks and balances inherent in the US Constitution. The administrative state for the better part of a century, and really dating back to the Pendleton Act of...
