Pictures and media taken from various sources across the web. Obviously, Paul Harvey's content was not created by me.) If somebody has plain audio of Paul Harvey monologue, I would greatly appreciate a link. Nothing is purer than Paul's golden voice.

And as for the pro-abortion-rights presidential candidate Santorum endorsed, when Specter launched a long-shot bid for president in 1995, Santorum — his fellow Pennsylvanian — was one of his few high-profile endorsements. For Specter, who later became a Democrat, his pro-abortion-rights position was a centerpiece of his campaign. Specter believed that anti-abortion activists were a “fringe” group hijacking the Republican party. “There are clearly more Republicans who are pro-choice,” Specter told Newsday’s Susan Page. “Up until now, I am the only person willing to take on the fringe.” After Specter dropped out of the race, he led an ill-fated movement...

MESA, Ariz. -- Some of Rick Santorum's advisers are frustrated and angry that reporters are focusing more on their candidate's statements about Satan than on his positions on the issues. Here in Arizona Tuesday, Santorum faced repeated questioning about portions of a 2008 speech at a Catholic university in Florida in which he said, "Satan is attacking the great institutions of America." "I don't know what's newsmaking that Rick Santorum believes in right and wrong, good and evil, God and the devil," says one campaign aide. "I really don't know how that's out of the mainstream." It's not. In 2007,...

Rick Santorum says his 2008 comments that “Satan has set his sights on the United States of America” are “not relevant” to the 2012 presidential race, but Chris Christie told me on “GMA” that Santorum is wrong. “Listen, I think anything you say as a presidential candidate is relevant. It is by definition relevant. You’re asking to be president of the United States. I don’t think [Santorum's] right about that. I think it is relevant what he says. I think people want to make an evaluation, a complete evaluation of anyone who asks to sit in the Oval Office,” the...

Faust is the main character in a German legend of a smart, important man in the local village that is bored with his life. He decides to call up the devil and make a bargain. In exchange for even more knowledge and power he agrees to sell his soul. This fairy tale like so many others ends happily as Faust is forgiven in the end. This story has been repeated many times from “The Devil and Daniel Webster” to “The Devil went down to Georgia” but it seems the lessons haven’t.

Archbishop Chaput Rome, Italy, Jan 28, 2010 / 11:41 am (CNA).- On Wednesday, the Emmanuel Community's annual symposium in Rome was addressed by Archbishop Charles Chaput of Denver, who spoke on the task of evangelizing the modern culture and what he called religious leaders' embarrassment to discuss the existence of Satan. The American archbishop spoke for half an hour at the Pontifical Lateran University to an audience ranging from college students to people in their 70s. His speech, entitled, “The Prince of this World and the Evangelization of Culture,” was part of a symposium that lasted from Jan. 25-27 and...

There is a Fourteenth century story of a Bailiff–the hated town collector of rents and enforcer of labor services—who, while riding to a village one day to collect rents, met the Devil himself in human form. “Where are you going,” asked the Devil? “To the next village on my master’s business,” replied the Bailiff. Upon introducing himself, the Devil asked the Bailiff if he would take whatever was freely offered him. “Yes,” replied the Bailiff who then asked the same question of the Devil. The Devil replied that, although also in quest of gain, he would NOT be willing to...

So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.(Genesis 3:24)We come to the final verse of this momentous chapter of the Bible. By now, the LORD has indicted the guilty couple, along with the serpent, and pronounced a judgment upon the serpent. Within that condemnation of the serpent, was a promise of salvation for the man, his wife and their descendants. The man and his wife also received the Divine sentence upon them. The...

NEW YORK (AP) — On "Saturday Night Live," even the devil was offended by the Penn State child sex abuse scandal. "SNL" cast member Jason Sudeikis reprised his role as Satan, appearing with red horns and pitchfork. The devil was informed by "Weekend Update" host Seth Meyers of sex charges against a former defensive coordinator and allegations that university officials failed to report the abuse. Even he was disturbed by the news. Addressing Penn State students who protested football coach Joe Paterno's firing, the devil spoke directly into the camera, asking, "Do you know how bad that made you look?"...

Theological error, they called it. The Pilot, the journal of the Archdiocese of Boston, published a column written by Daniel Avila, policy director for marriage and family at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. This is what Avila had to say about the root of homosexuality. “Whenever natural causes disturb otherwise typical biological development, leading to the personally un-chosen beginnings of same-sex attraction, the ultimate responsibility, on a theological level, is and should be imputed to the evil one, not God.†“Scientific evidence of how same-sex attraction most likely may be created provides a credible basis for a spiritual explanation...

Forrester Research last week recommended corporate IT departments let workers use Macs on their networks because these employees are more likely to be power users, the ones working longer hours, being more productive and making more money. The folks at Forrester Research reversed themselves last week with the recommendation that corporate IT departments need to make it easier for workers to use Mac computers and devices. The tech research firm had long told the same IT departments not to bother accommodating devices from Apple Inc. Why the change of mind? Forrester says it is because the most productive...

...A singular circumstance occurred before morning, which I will quote from Brother Hyde's journal, as he wrote it down. He commences as follows: "Elder [Isaac] Russell was much troubled with evil spirits and came into the room where Elder [Heber C.] Kimball and myself were sleeping and desired us to lay our hands on him and rebuke the evil spirit. I arose upon the bed and Brother Kimball got upon the floor and I sat upon the bed. We laid our hands on him and Brother Kimball rebuked and prayed for him but just before he had finished his prayer,...

I have been watching "The Passion of the Christ" for the millionth time and I would like to know more about the role of Lucifer in tempting Christ to forsake his destiny. I would like to know where in the Bible Lucifer, specifically, is written to have come to Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane and tried to steer Him away from His destiny.

For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous. Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.( I John 3:11-15)Love...

When giants fall, the ground shakes. Father John Corapi was a giant and many are still shaken at his downfall. I’ve read all the terrible twists and turns in this surreal case of a SOLT (Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity) priest who had many in the Catholic world by their hearts. It’s a great plot for a movie: popular, iconic priest who leads many to God and, in the end, himself falls. Wait, “fall” isn’t a big enough word. Maybe: plunges from meteoric heights of esteem among the faithful. His Darth-Vader-like voice that preached Christ resonated with...

8 April, 2011 Dear friends, Last month I was a guest at the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) in Alabama, taping programs for a series on the paganization of culture. Thank you very much for your prayers for me. The shows will be broadcast on the Women of Grace program, hosted by Johnnette Bencovic, each day this coming week. The general theme of the series is "Occult Fiction: Inroad to the Culture." Both Johnnette and myself, as well as researcher Sue Brinkmann and Fr. Edmund de Silva, comment on various aspects of the spiritual war that is taking place in...

Eleven people, including several children, were injured when they jumped from the third-story window of a suburban Paris apartment building, an official said. It wasn't known if they jumped on purpose or were forced, the judicial official said. There was no emergency in the building at the time, such as a fire. The victims are of African origin, possibly from Angola, and an initial investigation suggested they jumped after one of the women involved became hysterical and started shouting she'd seen the devil, the official said. Two members of the group - a 30-year-old man and a man with a...
