Monday, July 2, 2007 NANCY'S NOT HAPPY Break out the tissue box, folks. You're Speaker of the House is sad. Why you ask? Well for starters ... she doesn't think that she has the power to impeach George W. Bush. http://newsmax.com/archives/ic/2007/7/1/110137.shtml?s=icp Isn't that just so sad? On a conference call with bloggers last Friday, Pelosi made a comment about impeaching the President. The blogger asked whether or not it was worth sticking up for the Constitution. Nancy's response, "Well, yeah, the Constitution is worth it if you can succeed." Hopefully the Constitution will outlast the aging hollow-eyed hippie from Haight-Ashbury....

WASHINGTON -- As head of the Veteran's Administration under President Jimmy Carter, Vietnam veteran Max Cleland was involved in setting up VA Vet centers to help soldiers returning from war get counseling and readjust to life back home. Now Cleland has revealted that he's suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and getting help from those same counseling programs he helped create. Cleland, who lost three limbs in the war, said he didn't get much help for his own psychological wounds when he returned from battle. The former U.S. Senator from Georgia described his symptoms to Channel 2 Action News reporter...

A couple of weeks ago we had a great deal of fun in the DUFU edition titled, What meds do you take? and today we go back to the same FUnnie territory in this THREAD titled, “How many of us here take antidepressants?” Especially since the November election I am sure the DUmmies are taking antidepressants in copious quantities. In fact, I think they probably just swallowed down whole bottles of antidepressants on Election Night after they found out that Kerry did NOT win despite their early victory celebrations when the exit polls came out. So sit back, pop...

It was just a few months ago that the Democrats were riding high, salivating over their chances to seize control of Congress in the 2006 election. The war in Iraq was going badly, torture at Gitmo was up, the Abramoff scandal was headline news and presidential advisor Karl Rove was on his way to the big house. Despite the robust economy, the mainstream media did its part and kept that information out of the headlines, so things couldn't have been better. What a change a few months can make. The Democrat's main campaign theme, "a (Republican) culture of corruption" took...

I LOVE reading apocalyptic DUmmie threads. Their doom and gloom attitude is always a great source for comedic entertainment. And there seems to have been a great increase in the number of DUmmie apocalyptic threads lately. Perhaps this is due to the impending confirmation of Judge Alito to the Supreme Court. Hope as they may, there is NO WAY to stop his confirmation. Thus we are presented with images of the ApocAlito in which Supreme Court Justices actually interpret the Constitution as it was WRITTEN and throw out the whole dopey liberal concept of a "Living" Constitution (interpreting it...

Disheartened by the administration's success with the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Samuel A. Alito Jr., Democratic leaders say that President Bush is putting an enduring conservative ideological imprint on the nation's judiciary, and that they see little hope of holding off the tide without winning back control of the Senate or the White House. In interviews, Democrats said the lesson of the Alito hearings was that this White House could put on the bench almost any qualified candidate, even one whom Democrats consider to be ideologically out of step with the country. That conclusion amounts to a repudiation of...

A Quinnipiac University poll found that... Democrats to be highly depressed: Q.: Do you think 2005 was better or worse than 2004 for you personally? Republicans: Better: 65% Worse: 22% Democrats: Better: 41% Worse: 45% Time to cheer up Democrats.
