The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic invites all FReepers and lurkers in good standing to join us as we honor Notra Trulock, patriot and author of Code Name Kindred Spirit: Inside the Chinese Nuclear Espionage Scandal. Mr. Trulock, the former head of the Department of Energy's Intelligence Office has paid a steep price for trying to alert his superiors, Congress and his fellow Americans to the dangerous security problems at our nuclear weapons labs. Mr. Trulock was a whistleblower in the Clinton era--a time when whistleblowers were crucified by the mainstream press, not celebrated on the cover of Time magazine....

Hillary Clinton spoke on Friday, August 1, to a group of liberal lawyers misnamed as the American Constitution Society (ACS) at the Capitol Hilton in downtown Washington, D.C. For the sixth (6th) time in just over 7 weeks, FReepers of the DC Chapter left their undisclosed locations to FReep the woman who would be President. This was an up close and personal FReep of Mrs. Clinton as will be detailed below. Our attendance honor roll for this gathering of eagles: BufordP, Staytrue, Angelwood, Kristinn, and BillF. There were quite a few instances of favorable responses to us as well as...

The blaring music that’s now a standard feature at book signings by Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) is not part of a new summer marketing campaign. It’s an “audio protest” by Free Republic, a conservative group, whose members have been showing up with their boom boxes wherever Clinton appears. “We’re not hassling her,” said Kris Tinn, co-leader of the group’s Washington chapter. “It’s just our way of correcting her version of history.” Free Republic has put together what it calls the “2003 Hilla-Palooza” tape for local chapters to play outside bookstores, shopping malls or anywhere else Clinton is signing copies of...

(CNSNews.com) - Bastille Day, the day marking French independence, was also the day for opponents of the Bush administration to praise the French for their opposition to the war in Iraq. Internet activists from Democrats.com actually began their celebration Sunday, a day early, by conducting events in three cities to applaud the French resistance to U.S. foreign policy. All attendees received "Re-Defeat Bush" buttons, bumper stickers and lawn signs, a reference to the 2000 presidential election in which George W. Bush lost the popular vote to Democrat Al Gore but won the presidency by capturing the Electoral College majority. "The...

Are YOU one of the MILLIONS of AMERICANS who are... seeing your community destroyed by drugs brought into this country across our open borders? angry that the absurd immigration policies which contributed to the attacks of September 11 and the DC sniper have still not been corrected? tired of hearing the mantra that illegal aliens only take jobs Americans won't do?

I arrived at the Pentagon City Costco at about 5:20 PM. I pulled out my trusty Costco card and proceeded inside to case the joint. Right in the door were the Sheeple getting their yellow tickets to see the Frog Princess. Right in the door was fictional copies of the serial projectile launcher's book. I went over and had a frosty drink from the Costco cheap food stand. About 6:00 PM I walked out to meet the first Freepers (Anglewood and tgslTakoma). We pulled our usual game by setting up close.....

The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic invites all freepers and lurkers in good standing to join us as we continue to freep Her Heinous, Hillary! like a rented mule on her booksigning tour for Living History, the story of how she slept her way to the top of American politics. This Wednesday will be the fourth time this month Senator Clinton has (dis)graced us with her presence at a public booksigning in the D.C. area. We'll be there once again to remind her and her fans of all the inconvenient truths left out of Lying History When: 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 25.Where:...

The day was warm and sunny with nary a cloud in the sky as Doctor Raoul rolled into "The Avenue at White Marsh," on the outskirts of Baltimore. As the rest of us had not yet arrived, the good doctor made good use of his time by scouting the area and talking with various media on the scene. I arrived shortly after 6pm and met up with DR. We off-loaded our supplies and headed on over to the scene of Hillary!'s latest crime. As we walked up towards the book store - both of us loaded down with bags of...

Hillary — No Truth AndNo Consequences, Part IIByLisa Fabrizio Toogood Reports [Wednesday, June 18, 2003; 12:01 a.m. EST]URL: http://ToogoodReports.com/ "Life is to rise and not to rest," says the motto of my old high school. And so last week, on a pleasure trip to Washington DC, when an opportunity to rise arose I was ready to go.Last week I hopefully saved some of you from parting with a nugget of your hard-earned cash by reviewing Time magazine's excerpt of Hillary Clinton's 'autobiography', Living History. Though I still have not read the entire book, I think it's more interesting to study...

"The Wal-Mart parking lot is shaping up to resemble an old-school gang fight. Except instead of knives and chains, the combatants use placards and really weak song parodies. The Hillaryites' tormentors are the Freepers, a fierce, warlike tribe from the Free Republic organization--a fire-breathing conservative band of Internet brothers who often call each other by their screen names, even in person. The gist of the Freeper complaint--one seconded by many mainstream book reviewers who are much less intense than they are--is that Hillary has been paid $8 million to perpetrate a fraud, one of the many tributary frauds being her...

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has signed her book, "Living History," for "probably 10,000 people by now," she said Thursday, calling the response "extraordinary." "Some have already read the book and loved it," she said by phone from Washington, "or they've related to parts of it, or they support me politically, or they think this is a way to meet me." Friday night at 7, the former first lady appears at Huntington's Book Revue to sign books. "I try to at least look at people," she said. "I give people five or six or seven seconds to say something. Some are...
