THE HILL
SOCIAL SCENE CAPITAL LIVING
Spot The Future Dem Nominee
By Anat Maytal
Female presidential ambitions present and future were on display this week. Next year's hopeful, former Sen. Carol Moseley Braun (D-Ill.) addressed the Woman's National Democratic Club on Friday, receiving a warm but less-than overwhelming response.
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.), who claims she's still not running in 2004 but whom everyone expects to see on the ticket in 2008, held a book signing Thursday for her new biography, Living History. The response she received at the Trover Shop on Capitol Hill should only boost her reputation as the '08 frontrunner.
The temperature was in the high 80s, humidity was nearing 100 percent, and the sun was out in full blaze, but an estimated 1,500 still turned out for her John Hancock.
The line began to form at 6 a.m. and soon stretched to the end of C Street. I just want to meet her. I admire her and her courage, said David Arroniz, who was among the first people in line.
I want her to be president, if not now, then in eight years, said Yemi Wodneh, a caterer originally from Ethiopia. But not everyone came to show their support. Across the street, a group of eight people representing a loosely organized group of conservatives called Free Republic rallied against Clinton.
I am here to protest this sham of a memoir, said Sean Valentine, a projects manager and member of Free Republic. Trover Books said that it ordered 1,700 copies of Clintons book. The event was supposed to end at 2 p.m., but by 1:30 the book was sold out, leaving a group of about 30 people in line empty-handed.

Unfortunately, no mention of Satan in attendance.
Just like all her mirrors -- but then again - does she cast a reflection?
If you don't know, you have to BUY THE NEXT BOOK!
Thanks for posting this one for all to see. Nor did they mention the guy claiming to be Clarence Thomas......
Speaking of Hell... who is it that hangs out in Hell (other than Hill, I mean)? Why, SATAN, of course.
Poor ol' SATAN's been maligned of late as a good educational tool and attention-getter at Hell's Hill FReeps, so I did a very quick search and found a few links to recent SATAN appearances and the coverage by the press (I'm sure I missed a bunch, but I'm short on time tonight; my apologies)....

SATAN's gotten quite a bit of press in tandem with Hillary!'s book tour.
And I didn't even look for links to SATAN's past tour with Hillary! during her US Senate campaign. YIKES!
LOL! Run, you crook, run! I'd like to see that. Please!
I thought it had a nice ring to it. LOL!
I called The Hill to ask why this photo/article was not shown on their website after the paper was published. I spoke to the top guy and he told me that they take pride in the fact that they always publish their entire paper twice each week (there are daily updates in current news on the website but The Hill is published and on newsstands on Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
He was surprised when I informed him that this two-page article and photos about Hillary's Trover booksigning was not on the website. The first person I talked to said they were having a technical problem posting it. The editor told me he'd look into it and contact the webmaster. Kristinn called the next day and was told about the technical problems. They sent him the pdf file by email.
The article/photo spread never did make it onto The Hill website.
How much do you want to bet that this guy is gay?
