The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic will have a booth at the 55th Biennial Convention of the College Republican National Committee in Washington, D.C. this week at the Capitol Hilton.
We are honored to participate and lend our support to this fine organization which has been fighting the good fight on college campuses across the country.
The convention runs Friday thru Sunday morning. We'll be there until Saturday afternoon, spreading the word about all the great conservative activism at FreeRepublic.com.

The Capitol Hilton is at 16th Street and K Street, NW. No charge if you are a member of the chapter and working our table.

Sorry I can't make it for this event. Maybe Anglewood has some of my Bush2004 stickers to hand out.

I still have a few left over from the April 12 rally. We'll put them on the table with our other handouts.

Good work DC Chapter. I hope your efforts are fruitful and wish I could join you, but I'm unable to.

Was listening to C-SPAN Radio yesterday evening. They were covering the Young Americans for Freedom forum at Georgetown University. Some Dynamite speakers.

I'm going to be out of town - - - - again! JVb, I saw some of the speeches yesterday. If you go to
http://www.c-span.org you will see an audio/visual link to 2 hours and 50 minutes of Ron Robertson (page 1), Reginald Jones (page 2), and the "Warrior" (former pro wrestler)(page 3). All were very good but the Warrior was especially colorful.
To: leadpenny
I caught most of Reginald Jones presentation. I thought he was devastating. He mentioned Project 21 and True Blackman. Thanks for the link. I guess you could rightlly be labled a C-SPAN junkie.
Sorry that you'll be elswhere this weekend. October is when we'll need you on the front lines.

The problem is that the lamestream media is defaulting to all-Kobe all of the time and I just refuse to get caught up in that. The only way to escape it is to go to C-SPAN or the Cooking Channel. Actually, the real problem is that the I-Man is on vacation again this week (makes me cranky). I'm looking forward to October.

Morning bump.
We'll miss you this week. We have a calendar that is filling up fast with other opportunities. Hope you can make it to bmwcyle's cookout in August.
Hugs.

LOL! I just noticed your tagline, JVb. The old saying is true. You are able to teach an old dog new tricks. LOL! It's nice to know Kristinn, Angelwood and I were able to help grow the ranks of the DC Chapter.

I thought it was the Young America's Foundation annual National Conservative Student Conference, and it was held at George Washington U.
