  • C-Span Not Only Doesn't Air Patriots' Rally in DC, But Provides Direct Link To A.N.S.W.E.R Website.

Not only is C-Span providing only one side of the debate on the looming war against Iraq, but it may be promoting the anti-war argument. Listed on the C-Span website (homepage) is a direct link to the website of A.N.S.W.E.R., the organizers of the anti-American rally in D.C. today. No link or mention was provided for Free Republic, the Patriot's Rally counter-protest, or any other opposition. I know this may be a "vanity", but all Freepers have a right to know this. I am getting ready to send C-Span a nasty email and challenge all other Freepers to do likewise....

The so called major media have been full of one story after another about the so called "Anti-war" protesters. These are not anti-war protesters, they, like their cohorts in the so called major media, are anti-USA, pro-our enemy demonstrators. On September 11th, 2001 the United States of America was attacked by those who seek to destroy us. Their hatred of us is based not upon fact, but upon garbage fed to them by their rulers so as to keep them enslaved. Iraq supported, suppled intelligence, supplied funding and training for those that attacked us. Those who protest what is about...

In an interview last November published by the Egyptian weekly Al Usbou, Iraqi Dictator Saddam Hussein told writer Sayyid Nassar, ''No doubt, time is working for us. We have to buy some more time, and the American-British coalition will disintegrate because of internal reasons and because of the pressure of public opinion in the American and British street.'' This Saturday in San Francisco and Washington D.C., Saddam will ''get by with a little help from his friends'' in the anti-war movement. The sights and smells will resemble a crowd at a Grateful Dead concert. However, instead of music, protesters will...

With Carl Limbacher and NewsMax.com Staff For the story behind the story... C-Span has decided to continue its practice of covering anti-war demonstrations by ANSWER, an amalgamation of radical left-wing groups that will gather in Washington, D.C. on Saturday to stage a protest against U.S. plans to disarm Saddam Hussein by force. But the public affairs network has refused to carry the "Patriots Rally for America" counter demonstration in D.C. the same day. "C-SPAN has covered the last four ANSWER anti-war rallies in D.C.," complained Patriots organizer Kristinn Taylor. "Yet it's shown only one of our three counter-demonstrations to them."...

The troops are massing — not for war but for a "No War on Iraq" march in the District slated to begin 11 a.m. tomorrow on the National Mall. Organizers say they are hoping thousands of anti-war activists will show up in subfreezing weather for the protest, which will feature two hours of speeches followed by a 16-block walk to the Navy Yard in Southeast. D.C. law-enforcement agencies will increase manpower and close streets where demonstrators plan to march. Third and Fourth streets from Independence Avenue SW to Pennsylvania Avenue NW will be closed tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 9...

Vietnam veterans and patriotic Americans from across the country will be rallying in our nation's capital to show support for their brothers and sisters in arms as they fight the war on terror and prepare to defend us from outlaw regimes like Iraq and North Korea. The members of MOVEOUT! are "insulted by the leftist Sixties retreads and wannabes who are raising the specter of Vietnam in conjunction with the current "anti-war" demonstrations as if they are the sole voices from that era." “These veterans are proud of their saving South Vietnam from communist occupation during the longest war in...

We began arriving around 2:15 p.m. to set up and get ready for Al and Tipper Gore's booksigning at Olsson's Book Store near the Courthouse Metro Station. People were already inside the store and lining up outside with more people coming every few minutes. The Arlington County Police sent three officers (in three cars) to meet the FReepers. They had already prepared a demonstration area on the sidewalk in front of Olsson's and marked the boundaries with orange traffic cones. We were positioned on the sidewalk, separated by a row of small bushes (which we were told to stay out...

I'd like to repeat a quick point I made on the DC Chapter Patriots' Rally On C-Span (11:20 p.m. ET) thread (and I know I'm going to get flamed for this, so the flame-proof suit is ON!). This development (the kill Saddam Iraqis who joined the DC Chapter Patriots Rally this past day), which I was amazed to see, has made me think. I think we should try to keep the Islam/Arab-bashing (the unwarranted kind) to a bare minimum. Many of these Iraqi freedom fighters have now heard about FR and may visit our site. These brave Iraqis show us...

(or how Doctor Raoul went to the Miss Manners School of Edicate at the PortaPotties). Greetings, There is so much to write, i am not sure how to start it. We began the rally today at 11 am. Congressman Billybob was the first speaker up. He listed several prominent leftists from the other side participating in today's anti-war protests. At the end of each introduction, he thundered out "Moron!" and the crowd at our rally answered with a thunderous "Moron" of their own. He gave a stem winder of a speech. There was a second speaker whom I do not...
