Kathryn C. Wood, of Burke, Va., a co-leader of Free Republic, said, "We're out here to support the troops. They defend our freedom and our rights."

"I voted for (Bush). Had I known he was going to be a war man, I wouldn't have voted for him," Chaabi said, admitting the protest will probably not make a difference to the president. "To me, I'm just clearing my conscious."

I was at the San Francisco march from the Ferry Building to the Civic Center (I was lurking). From what I could tell, a whole lot of people had "cleared their conscious" beforehand. Three times somebody tried to sell me dope.

Welcome to Free Republoc

That is why the whole world protested today against the war. Oh, and 60-odd Free Republican sheep braved the cold for a couple of hours to cast their support for the big oil war.

The whole world

The same tired group of leftist that will show up for any anti American (or pro reparation) rally. I wonder how many are paid federal employees under 'Rat control.
