Far-left Squad member Rep. Cori Bush performed multiple miracles as a religious faith healer, according to her autobiography. “As I learned how to apply God’s Word to my life in new ways, I better understood the power that was already residing in me,” Bush wrote of her abilities in “The Forerunner: A Story of Pain and Perseverance in America.” “It was there, waiting for me to acknowledge it, to use it. I had the confidence to heal others with God’s power.” Bush relayed a story of a toddler she met during a prayer service in St. Louis. “The child had...

Progressive 'Squad' member Rep. Cori Bush is continuing to dish out cash to her security guard husband despite a federal probe into her alleged misuse of campaign funds for security purposes. Her most recent Federal Election Commission (FEC) filing reveals her campaign paid her husband Cortney Merritts - who works as her personal security guard - $15,000 in the first quarter of 2024. That brings the total amount she has paid him to over $135,000. Bush has regularly paid Merritts $5,000 a month since January 2022, her filings indicate.

Democrat Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) broke ways with President Joe Biden on Sunday after he said he wouldn’t support Israel if it retaliated against Iran. During an interview with CNN, Fetterman told host Jake Tapper that he disagreed with Biden’s stance, saying he would never "capitulate to the fringe" or “pander” to the Democratic Party. “Do you think that's the right call or should direct U.S. military action, as some of your colleagues in the Senate are suggesting, should that be on the table?" Tapper asked. The president made it clear that he would not back Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin...

Top staffers for Democrat John Fetterman are leaving his office for more progressive jobs as the Pennsylvania senator moves more to the center on key issues. The everyman Democrat, who loves Carhartt hoodies and dawning a disheveled goatee, has staunchly supported Israel's war on Hamas and denounced calls for a ceasefire. He's also expressed support for increased U.S. border security, another position that puts him at odds with his party. The freshman Democrat was elected after securing support from some of the most liberal members of Congress in 2022. The towering 6 foot 8 inch senator, previously supported Democrat Socialist...

The liberal actor declared, 'In all honesty, I have educated myself so much since 2016' --------------------------------------------- Comedian and pro-Israel advocate Michael Rapaport shredded what the modern Democratic Party has become and explained why he is increasingly considering voting for Trump in a new interview. As part of a series about the Israel-Hamas conflict that rages in the Middle East, an interviewer from Visegrad24 spoke to Rapaport on the shores of an Israeli beach and asked, "Have your political views shifted? You’ve been a very vocal anti-Trump - probably the most vocal anti-Trump celebrity out there. Have your views shifted? I...

(New York Jewish Week) — The Jewish Democratic Council of America, the leading Jewish organization affiliated with the Democratic Party, endorsed George Latimer in his bid to unseat New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman in the upcoming primary. It also endorsed Wesley Bell in his campaign to unseat Rep. Cori Bush in Missouri, marking the first time that the Jewish Democrats have endorsed primary challengers to Democratic incumbents. Both incumbents have been vocal critics of Israel. In New York’s 16th district, which covers southern Westchester County and a sliver of the northern Bronx and is home to a sizable Jewish community,...

A House Oversight and Accountability subcommittee hearing Tuesday examined threats to the security and reliability of the U.S. electricity grid, which can lead to more blackouts. While reliability assessments regularly find that increased reliance on wind and solar, increased demand from electrification, an underbuilt electrical delivery network, and rapid retirements of on-demand generators are creating an increased risk of blackouts, Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., ranking member of the subcommittee, instead blamed other sources of the problem, namely, white supremacy. She also threw in "climate change" for good measure.

We previously reported that there may be some big issues coming for "Squad" member Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) in this election. As we noted, both she and her fellow "Squad" member Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) were being outraised by their more moderate, Democrat challengers. Seems people are not necessarily big fans of extremists. Her principal opponent, Wesley Bell, said he was honored by the support and drew a sharp contrast between himself and Bush. In a statement to the Hill, Bell said:Missouri’s 1st District deserves a representative who shows up, does the work and gets things done. I’m honored by...

Actor Selma Blair is facing backlash online after an Islamophobic Instagram comment from last week went viral. The comment was made on an Instagram video posted by Abraham Hamra one week ago, in which he calls out U.S. Representatives Rashida Tlaib, D-Mi., and Cori Bush, D-Mo., for being the only two members of Congress to vote against a measure that would prevent anyone who partook in the Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel from immigrating to the U.S. Hamra, whose Instagram bio refers to him as a speaker and Syrian Jewish refugee, calls Tlaib a "liar," "moron" and a "hateful...

It appears that two "Squad" members could see their time in the House of Representatives comes to an end in the upcoming election cycle. Representatives Cori Bush of Missouri and Jamaal Bowman of New York have both been financially outraised by their more moderate Democratic challengers, according to a report by Fox News Digital. Bush has been under investigation by the Justice Department for handing out tens of thousands of dollars in campaign funds to a security firm. And now she has been outraised by attorney Wesley Bell, who is running a more moderate Democratic campaign. "Missouri’s 1st District deserves...

Reparations advocates had the wind in their sails last year. Cities across the US set up teams to hash out plans to compensate black people for the legacy of slavery, taking their cue from a successful pilot in Evanston, Illinois. The landscape in 2024 is very different. Squad member Cori Bush, the Missouri Democrat who has championed payouts, is under investigation for campaign spending violations. Her bid for a $14 trillion federal compensation package is dead in the water. The reparations task force in Detroit — a hub for African-American culture — has descended into a 'shambles' of quitting and...

Cori Bush could be on the hook for many crimes as the Justice Department continues its investigation into her alleged misuse of over $750,000 in campaign funds for personal security. The progressive Squad member spent thousands on security services out of her campaign account since getting elected in 2020. That includes over $120,000 to her husband Courtney Merritts, according to her most recent campaign filings, who she married in February 2023. Kendra Arnold, executive director for ethics watchdog the Foundation for Accountability & Civic Trust (FACT) told DailyMail.com that 'a host of other possible charges' for Bush are possible.

Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) is under criminal investigation by the Department of Justice, according to Punchbowl News’ Jake Sherman. Per Sherman, the DOJ has issued a subpoena to the House of Representatives Sergeant at Arms “for records relating to the misspending of federal security money.” Bush, a progressive firebrand, was first elected to the House in 2020. After taking office in 2021, Bush was pressed on the tension between her support for defunding the police and her campaign’s profligate spending on security. “You faced some criticism in recent weeks over your push to defund the police. Campaign records show that...

Members of Congress belonging to the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) have not condemned the violent anti-Israel protest that targeted the headquarters of their own party in Washington, D.C., this week. The offices of representatives Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.; Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.; Greg Casar, D-Texas; and Cori Bush, D-Mo., did not respond to Fox News Digital's multiple requests for comment concerning the violence that erupted Wednesday when pro-Palestinian demonstrators calling for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war rioted outside the Democratic National Committee (DNC). None have released a public statement addressing the violence, other than Bush sharing a statement on X...

Progressive Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) on Thursday said “pauses” in the fighting between Israel and Hamas are not enough and renewed her call for a ceasefire. Bush was joined by members of About Face, an organization representing veterans who are against war, as well Reps. Summer Lee (D-Pa.) and Delia Ramirez (D-Ill.). Bush has been outspoken about calling for a ceasefire, pointing to the thousands of Palestinians who have been killed due to Israeli airstrikes. The White House said earlier Thursday that Israel agreed to four-hour daily pauses in Gaza to allow civilians to flee areas of fighting, with President...

Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) slammed her colleagues who voted to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) on Tuesday over her comments on the Israel-Hamas war that sparked criticism on both sides of the aisle. “Shame on every Member who voted to censure @RepRashida. 10,000 Palestinians have been killed, including 4,000 children, & your focus is on trying to silence the only Palestinian-American in Congress. History will prove you were wrong,” Bush wrote Wednesday on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) pushed back against Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) accusing Israel of “ethnic cleansing” by saying, “Israel is not conducting an ethnic cleansing campaign. Israel is not engaged in genocide. Israel was brutally attacked in the most horrific way on October 7. It has resulted in the largest loss of Jewish life since the Holocaust.” And Israel is responding.
