After Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY)’s primary defeat in New York, a second Squad member could be in trouble, according to a new poll that shows Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO)’s opponent, Wesley Bell, pulling ahead.
The poll, conducted by Democrat pollster Mark Mellman’s group and published by Politico, showed that Bell has overcome a double-digit deficit to pull ahead of Bush.
Bell, St. Louis County’s prosecuting attorney, is only one percentage point ahead of Bush, but analysis by the group said Bell’s image is improving, while Bush’s is moving in a negative direction, “leaving him with an underlying image advantage.”

Yet AOC won last night in a landslide, I dont get it, they like that idiot but they got rid of Bowman and probably now Bush, what is it about AOC that people in her district like she does absolutely nothing for them
Is America waking up to these Communists?
AOC bounces and raves and acts like the good little Marxist she is. Her ilk have ruined country after country in the last century and this. However, let’s not underestimate her appeal. Some people just adore the idea of government giving them everything and promising security. Of course we know the progressives can’t deliver—maybe for a while but not long term. They always end making life far more difficult for all but those at the top, but some people just have to learn the hard way. Where are they all going to run next if the Squad ends up getting their way, and America is done for?
Good! Too bad AOL will survive unless she is charged with campaign or other fraud before the election.
If Bush gets whacked, it will be interesting to hear the remaining squad members explain why only its black members got unelected. No doubt racism will be the first word out of their mouth.
I don’t think anyone really ran against her
It’s a primary race. She unseated a 10+ year incumbent by vastly outraising him (some have suggested by using duplicitous means) and then organizing a good gett out the vote team. I think she won her seat the first time with only 16,000 total votes cast or something. Keep in mind a congressional district has about 750,000 people in it. You just need a good ground game to get out the vote and her district is probably Democrat+30 or so. So once you win the primary you’re almost guaranteed the seat.
Or short answer - apathy among too many.
Nancy P said a dem warm glass of water would win in that district.
Probably involves her mouth
NY-14 ethnic makeup:
Hispanic - 47%
White - 28%
Asian - 17%
Black - 11%
Other - 2%
People lacking critical thinking skills frequently vote for their tribe.
I try not to go into Bush’s district very often, and I certainly don’t go near the neighborhoods where she gets her core support. But, I have noticed a few Bell yard signs, and seen a few Bell commercials.
On our side of the aisle Boebert gets the benefit and she carries.
It’s New York!
Lay your hands on your campaign and heal it Cori! Praise Jesus!!!
*AOC is fairly attractive. She has that going for her.*
Why does it take 13 posts for someone to figure out her appeal? Blue district helps.
Let’s just say all of you fellas would. No need to lie.
So once you win the primary you’re almost guaranteed the seat.
That would be sweeeeeet.
I wouldn’t count them communists, they’re more like loud mouth losers.
