A mother duck and her eleven ducklings had a very lucky escape after they were run over by a motorist while crossing a highway. Footage shows the shocked parent bird flap into the air as the vehicle mows over her brood in Fort Worth, Texas, before gathering up her unhurt ducklings and continuing with the perilous crossing. A full-scale alert was launched today after the captain of a packed BA transatlantic passenger jet feared his plane was about to be hijacked. Tornado fighter planes were scrambled from RAF bases in Britain and met the aircraft in midair to escort it to London. <p>WHIDBEY ISLAND NAVAL AIR STATION, Wash. — Prop wash from a P-3 Orion on the tarmac flipped a Cessna 152 behind it at the Whidbey Island Naval Air Station, said spokeswoman Kim Martin.</p> <p>A student pilot and instructor inside the Cessna, which belongs to a Navy flying club, were not seriously injured in the incident at 5:55 p.m. Sunday, Martin said.
