(excerpt) You don’t usually mention issues like climate change on the show, did you feel that you had to address it this time around? JC: Well, [Hammond and May] were dragging along the bottom [of the river], in the mud. We can’t say everything is perfectly all right because it obviously isn’t, but our job is not to run around, have school strikes, sail to America on a carbon-fibre yacht that cost £15 million, or shout at people which achieves absolutely f**k all. Our job is to simply say, there it is and move on. We’re just entertainers.

John Legend and Kelly Clarkson just dropped the updated version of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.” The two "Voice" coaches collaborated to create a modernized version of the Christmas classic — fully of reworked lines in light of the original’s growingly controversial lyrics. In the original tune, which has been covered by many artists since its debut, a female sings: "I really can’t stay,” to which a man responds: "But baby, it’s cold outside.” In another part of a song, a woman is heard singing lines like "Say what's in this drink?", "The answer is no" and "I've gotta get home."

Sheriff's deputies say the crash happened on Redman Road, just north of West Ridge Road around 7 p.m. They say Efrain Lopez-Contreras, 29, was driving drunk and crossed the center line and struck a car being diven by Tony Bartolucci, 52, and his 14-year-old daughter Gianna. Witnesses told deputies that following the crash, Lopez-Contreras got out of his car and left the scene. The car being driven by Bartolucci became...

Former Top Gear presenter says being sacked by the BBC was a ‘wake-up call’ as he joins host of celebrities backing climate change campaign The disgraced former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has become the latest celebrity to support the Guardian’s campaign for fossil fuel divestment. Following what he described as a “dark night of the soul”, Clarkson said he hoped to “regain the trust of the British public” by dedicating his time and financial resources to sustainable energy, road safety and forging mutual understanding and tolerance between people of different cultures and religions. The 54-year-old said that the “fracas”...

Jeremy Clarkson said today he has not 'heard a thing' from the BBC despite claims bosses have already decided to sack him. The corporation's internal investigation has reportedly concluded the star, 54, launched a 30-second physical attack on a Top Gear producer during their steak dinner 'fracas'. Clarkson was suspended two weeks ago for allegedly punching Oisin Tymon in the face when he was offered a plate of cold cuts instead of steak and chips after a long day of filming. Sources have said that the BBC allegedly found Clarkson spent 20 minutes verbally abusing the producer in a luxury...

Jeremy Clarkson, Bête Noire, of the left in the UK, may have gone too far this time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Clarkson It appears that early March 2015, he was involved in an argument with one of the producers of the show 'Top Gear' which he presents, which ended with Clarkson swinging a punch at the producer. Clarkson's co-presenters, James May and Richard Hammond managed to hold Clarkson back. Clarkson appears to have attempted to patch things up with the producer afterwards but to no avail. He then reported the incident himself to the BBC management and wheels began to turn. The BBC suspended...

Top Gear could have stayed on air without Jeremy Clarkson - but his co-hosts reportedly refused to present the show without him. James May and Richard Hammond were offered the chance to front the motoring show during Clarkson’s suspension, according to a BBC executive. Discussions were held about broadcasting the last three episodes with mainly recorded segments while the two co-stars filmed the studio parts. However the BBC insider told the Mirror that May and Hammond rejected the offer and refused to go on air without their long-time colleague. The source said: "They didn't want to do it without Jeremy...

THE GREATEST RAID OF ALL "What a story it is, straight out of a Commando comic book." the guardian Jeremy Clarkson tells the story of one of the most daring operations of World War II -- the Commando raid on the German occupied dry dock at St. Nazaire in France on 28th March 1942.

Love him or hate him, Bill Clinton is probably the most charismatic former president still around. He also seems to, somehow, be the star of the show wherever he goes. Monday's presidential inauguration in Washington, D.C. was no different. During a performance of "My Country 'Tis of Thee" by "American Idol" champion Kelly Clarkson, Clinton's head popped out from the crowd as he photobombed her. The internet instantly lit up with people passing the photo around and attaching their own jokes to it.

Many on the left obsess over this strange notion that the religious right is conspiring to turn America into a theocracy. A case in point was a recent guest on my radio program “Fairness Radio with Chuck & Patrick.” Our guest, the ultra-liberal author and columnist Frederick Clarkson, stated, in a very scholarly and suave tone that he was convinced, after decades of research, that the Christian right was plotting a takeover. I asked him to name names and, after some hemming and hawing, he came up with Rev. Pat Robertson and the late Rev. R.J. Rushdooney. He darkly identified...

Jeremy Clarkson and his Top Gear co-stars have sparked religious outrage after dressing up in burkas on the Boxing Day special. Clarkson and Richard Hammond decided to dress in niqabs, a form of the burka where everything but the eyes are covered, in order to disguise themselves on the road. They also got James May in on the act when they greeted him from hospital after he fell and hit his head on rocks in the Syrian desert.

Much has been written about the Insight, Honda’s new low-priced hybrid. We’ve been told how much carbon dioxide it produces, how its dashboard encourages frugal driving by glowing green when you’re easy on the throttle and how it is the dawn of all things. The beginning of days. So far, though, you have not been told what it’s like as a car; as a tool for moving you, your friends and your things from place to place. So here goes. It’s terrible. Biblically terrible. Possibly the worst new car money can buy. It’s the first car I’ve ever considered crashing...

An earlier thread posted another video of Mr. Clarkson shooting up cars skeet style. I love that video and decided to watch some other videos from "Top Gear's" Jeremy Clarkson. I now have a new personal favorite... Mr. Clarkson outfits a Porsche 944 Turbo with rocket launching tubes and goes hunting for traffic cams, signs and traffic cops. Too funny! Click here for the video.

The bad body image blues has been hitting some big names in music hard these days. First, British sensation Lily Allen posted on her MySpace blog that she was researching liposuction because she thinks she is chubby. PASADENA, Calif. - Singer Kelly Clarkson, who vaulted to fame as the first "American Idol" winner in 2002, is not letting any of her songs be used by new contestants on the show. A spokesman for Clarkson insisted it's nothing personal, but the stance prompted a public scolding from "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell. "I think that by ignoring the show you're ignoring the audience who put you there," Cowell said Tuesday. Clarkson has become a major star in the past year, with her hit "Since U Been Gone" earning both massive sales and critical respect, particularly from a rock...

After thirty years running from the law, a man with alleged ties to one of Canada's most notorious gangs has been caught. Christopher Clarkson was arrested in Florida. Clarkson is allegedly a member of the Stopwatch Gang, a group so-named in the 1970s because of their reputation for timing their robberies to the second. The gang was linked to the robberies of more than 100 banks and armoured cars across Canada and the United States. Their biggest job was a $750,000 gold bullion armoured car heist in Ottawa. Clarkson, believed to be 61-years old, allegedly joined the Stopwatch gang in...
