You probably saw all the references, because the show was mostly just the three blokes doing what they do always.
I was bothered by the references, too, especially from Clarkson, but he didn’t beat us over the head with it and the show as a whole was quite enjoyable, and I laughed out loud more than once.
Naturally, your mileage may vary.
I love those “Life Below Zero” shows. Especially in the summer. I have to say I wonder if the people who produce this stuff ever even watch their own reruns. The first few seasons it was all “unusually cold winter...global warming...proof right here.” The last few seasons have been chock full of “excessively warm winter...global warming...proof right there.” Occasionally they show two of these back to back. It’s hilarious.

How about wearing the dictator/communist che t-shirt? That was an absolute insult. I heard him mention climate change but then said the chinese were damming up the rivers and that was the reason there was no water.

BTW he also mentioned that China had dammed the river so it was China not releasing water downstream that is the real issue.

Well. Man-caused climate change is real because his boat was hitting mud in a river.
I guess he is going to have to ask those guys poling barges along the Mississippi River in 1872 who were scraping the bottom what they planned to do about man-caused climate change.

I stopped recording “Life Below Zero” once they began repeating the “climate change” idiocy.
