WASHINGTON -- President-elect Donald Trump has picked Kash Patel to serve as FBI director, turning to a fierce loyalist to upend America's premier law enforcement agency and rid the government of perceived "conspirators." It's the latest bombshell Trump has thrown at the Washington establishment and a test for how far Senate Republicans will go in confirming his nominees. "I am proud to announce that Kashyap "Kash" Patel will serve as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation," Trump posted Saturday night on Truth Social. "Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and 'America First' fighter who has spent his...

The J6 riot was not an insurrection but a protest that escalated into an out-of-control riot because then-Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund was denied intelligence about potential threats that day and denied National Guard backup that he was begging for. In the cold light of hindsight, a new Trump administration will ensure that the narrative of J6 is rewritten to reflect the truth of that tragic day instead of the lies spun by Democrat Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi’s J6 committee. Sund is a crucial witness to history. Pelosi made him her scapegoat, firing him immediately, but she knew that he...

Former Department of Defense official Kash Patel is being considered for several national security posts — including CIA director, a key GOP source told The Post on Monday. Patel, 44, previously served as a National Security Council official, senior adviser to the acting director of national intelligence and chief of staff to the secretary of defense. While President-elect Donald Trump has not officially arrived a decision about Patel’s final move, there has been “conversations” between the transition team and the former Trump official — with the majority of the discussions in Trump World being focused on the CIA, according to...

Elon Musk has rejected calls by ex-NASA astronaut Scott Kelly to ramp up his Starlink internet system over Ukraine to aid the armed forces. Kelly tweeted Musk on Saturday saying: 'Ukraine desperately needs your continued support. Defense from a genocidal invasion is not an offensive capability. It's survival. Innocent lives will be lost. You can help. Thank you.' It came after Musk's company restricted Ukraine's military access to Starlink, in particular it being used to control grenade-carrying drones. Musk was quick to respond to Kelly, on Sunday defending his wariness to the increase coverage any further in the country. 'You're...

"At the end of the day, we're gonna have to stand up to [Putin] more forcefully," he said. Trump administration acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller on Wednesday applauded Ukraine for executing what may be the "most successful military campaign" in history, but he warned that if the West does not "stand up" against Russian President Vladimir Putin, World War Three III could start — if it hasn't already. "I fear if we don't get our act together ... this will be World War III," Miller said, adding, "Many people think it already is." The Kremlin threatened to take nuclear...

Former defense secretaries share responsibility for delaying a professional military response that might have protected the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.Last week, Politico reported that some current and former military leaders are freaking out because 124 retired “Flag Officers 4 America” dared to post a public letter stating at the top, “Our Nation is in deep peril.” Politico’s headline described the volunteer veterans’ “Open Letter from Retired Generals and Admirals” as “disturbing and reckless.” The letter triggered critics by addressing several issues, such as the border crisis, China and Iran, the Keystone Pipeline, crime, freedom of speech, Big Tech, election...

Corporate media’s irresponsible and dishonest ‘reporting’ during the Trump administration had an adverse impact on officials’ decisions—and to tragic effect. When President Trump’s acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller testified before Congress on May 12, he provided important context about why he made the decisions about troop deployments, which at the time, seemed to many Americans obviously too little, too late. First, it is important to note Miller has been a straight shooter from the beginning. Referring to the speech Trump gave on Jan. 6, 2021, Miller told Vice News in March, “Would anybody have marched on the Capitol, and tried...

Pelosi has sent a letter to Acting Defense Secretary Christopher C. Miller. Why? She is attempting to block the installation of a new NSA Counsel candidate appointed by President Trump. It is well known that the NSA’s new top lawyer is a Trump loyalist. Is that why Pelosi is worried? Specifically, she claims that the move is “highly suspect” since there are apparently only 2 days left in President Trump’s time in the White House. Pelosi claims that this move “is highly irregular and highly suspect.” Ummm… like impeaching an outgoing President just days before his term ends? Pelosi published...

Acting defense secretary Christopher C. Miller ordered the director of the National Security Agency to install on Saturday a former GOP political operative as the NSA’s top lawyer, according to four individuals familiar with the matter. The move is troubling, coming as it does four days before President Trump leaves office and the Biden administration takes over, former U.S. officials said. The move makes it more difficult for the Biden administration to immediately replace him, the former officials said. “An 11th-hour move like this and a directive from the acting secretary of defense is overwhelmingly strong evidence of irregularity,” Hennessey...

Acting Defense Secretary Chris Miller ordered a Pentagon-wide halt to cooperation with the transition of President-elect Biden, shocking officials across the Defense Department, senior administration officials tell Axios. Behind the scenes: A top Biden official was unaware of the directive. Administration officials left open the possibility cooperation would resume after a holiday pause. The officials were unsure what prompted Miller's action, or whether President Trump approved. Why it matters: Miller's move, which stunned officials throughout the Pentagon, was the biggest eruption yet of animus and mistrust toward the Biden team from the top level of the Trump administration. What happened:...

In a surprising move, the Pentagon has told the Central Intelligence Agency that it plans to end the majority of the military support it provides to the agency's counterterrorism missions by Jan. 5, according to a former senior administration intelligence official. It is unclear how the decision would impact the spy agency's worldwide counterterrorism missions that often rely on the U.S. military for logistical support and personnel. Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller sent a letter to CIA Director Gina Haspel outlining the decision, according to the former official, who characterized the action as both surprising and unprecedented.

The DOD just announced that all civilian spec ops are to report directly to Chris Miller. My understanding is all the spec ops teams from CIA, FBI, DEA, DHS, etc now report directly to the DOD instead of using the traditional chain of command bypassing the corrupt bureaucrats. I am not sure, but this seems like a big deal.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said on Thursday that he is placing a hold on two of President Trump's nominees, saying the administration provided an "inadequate response" to his questions about the firing of two inspectors general. Grassley is placing a hold on Christopher Miller's nomination to be the director of the National Counterterrorism Center over the firing of intelligence community Inspector General Michael Atkinson. He is also placing a hold on Marshall Billingslea's nomination to be the undersecretary for arms control and international security at the State Department for the ousting of State Department Inspector General Steven Linick. Grassley said...
