I called Casey's office yesterday after the ACORN defunding vote tally was made known. I left a message telling them I want a callback explaining why Casey voted the way he did to fun a corrupt organization like ACORN after many tapes were release showing them setting up brothels. There was another thread posted earlier referencing a statement from Senator Casey’s office regarding his vote not to eliminate federal funding for Acorn. At least a few participants charged Wednesday that Sen. Bob Casey's health care forum was stacked in favor of those who support a reform bill, something the Casey camp strongly denies. Each potential questioner was required to fill out a form asking his or her name and address, in addition to writing the question. Those forms were drawn at random, and the questioner was asked to approach a microphone to state the question. I had the privilege of being invited to Senator Casey's telephone Town Hall meeting that is occurring right now. My phone rang at 6:30 PM, I picked up and there was a message stating this was the Senator and he's sorry nobody was available to take his call. I was then disconnected and can not get back in (*69).
