Upward of 400 people heard a brief presentation by Casey of the health bill passed by his Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee that seeks universal insurance coverage. This was followed by questions. Both supporters and opponents turned out in large numbers, but there were few of the sharp exchanges that have characterized similar forums held by elected officials around the country.

He held one the other morning at a Community College campus in a run-down part of Pittsburgh. It started at 10AM. His SPAM email informing me of the event was sent at 11:15 the prior evening. Clearly packed with union-type ringers, they apparently had gotten the message much earlier. The TV footage was so boring the news only hung with it for ten seconds.
Did he try to pound the lectern this time?
Hmmm, Robert Casey. Wasn’t this the pro-life Senator touted as almost conservative? Anybody asked him about public paid abortion in these 4 bills?
This is his son. His father, one of the few honarable democrats, died awhile back.
This Casey is a bum — if you want to see what kind of Office he runs, give them a call in Washington, ask and good conservative question and watch what happens. Basically, no return email, no return call, no nothing. He is a pathetic individual and his staff is much of the same.
I called Senator Caseys Washington D.C. office last week to express my concern about the czars that had been appointed without any Congressional oversight or vetting. The aid TOLD ME AN OUTRIGHT LIE AND SAID THAT ALL THE CZARS ARE CONFIRMED BY THE SENATE. It is obvious to me that the Senator and his staff are arrogant beynd belief and need to be flushed in the next election.

I lived through the Casey, SR. administration. I don’t know why you would call him honorable. He lied about a revenue shortfall during his re-election campaign, and then gave us the largest tax increase in Pennsylvania history after he was safely re-elected. Then he blamed the need for the tax increase on Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait.
Honorable, my (_!_)
Relatively speaking, even Clinton was honorable compared to ObaMao.
“Relatively speaking, even Clinton was honorable compared to ObaMao. “
I wouldn’t use the word “honorable” in the same sentence as either Obama or Clinton.
As for Casey, Sr. he was called a conservative Democrat because he was a pro-life Catholic. Other than that, he was a liberal as any other Democrat.
