Senator Casey camp denies Q&A was rigged at East Stroudsburg University
Pocono Record ^ | September 3, 2008 | David Pierce

At least a few participants charged Wednesday that Sen. Bob Casey's health care forum was stacked in favor of those who support a reform bill, something the Casey camp strongly denies. Each potential questioner was required to fill out a form asking his or her name and address, in addition to writing the question. Those forms were drawn at random, and the questioner was asked to approach a microphone to state the question. "It seemed like all the questions were favorable" to the Senate health bill, Doreen Linder of Quakertown said after standing up near the end of the forum to make her views known. "This meeting was fabricated."

I am a constituent of Senator Casey and registered to receive announcements by e-mail. Needless to say I did not receive any for this event. I also reside near the University he held the meeting at and did not hear any mention of this on the local radio or TV. Furthermore, I just checked the press releases on his website and do not see this event listed. Perhaps most significant is the fact that Moveon.org also sponsored an event in favor of Health Care on the same day in the same town.

Makes me wonder of the accusations are indeed true…

Sen Casey could never handle a fight. He never handled a job in the past because as soon as he was elected to one office, he started campaigning for another.

One statement that should hit home with everyone, if you read the article. “”Ronald Reagan said in 1961, ‘The way to control people is to control their health care.’”

Casey would be the textbook case of the Peter Principle in action, except that he never got the chance to rise to his level of incompetence as state treasurer.

Were it not for bigger dolts in the senate like Patricia Bin Murray or Barbara Boxer, he would at least have a shot at the title "Dumbest member of the U.S. Senate." Could he compete for the title in the men's division?

Bob Casey is a major league lightweight living on his father’s name.

Gee.. he holds the rally at a university (which was a lowly State College when I graduated from there in the 70s). Of course he’s going to have a majority of liberals there.

” required to fill out a form asking his or her name and address, in addition to writing the question. “

So, write down something he will find favorable, then, if called, ask a completely different question. Seems simple enough, unless they are searching the net for any political statements and donations you’ve made.

Easy to do the rigging:

Sort thru all the written questions, and set aside those you don’t want brought to light in front of the audience.

Put only the questions you want to have heard into the “drawing basket” and then it is totally rigged.......

It is unbelievable that he beat Senator Santorum by such a huge margin. I am not sure what was going on there.

I called Senator Casey’s Washington D.C. office last week to express my concern about the ‘czars’ that had been appointed without any Congressional oversight or vetting. The aid TOLD ME AN OUTRIGHT LIE AND SAID THAT ALL THE CZARS ARE CONFIRMED BY THE SENATE. It is obvious to me that the Senator and his staff are arrogant beynd belief and need to be flushed in the next election.

Could he compete!? He is the GOLD MEDAL favorite!

Youtube Senator Bob Casey saying anything and you will quickly learn how dim this bulb really is.

Gold: Bob Casey Jr.
Silver: Chuck Schummer
Bronze: Sherrod Brown

Why is the competition so much stiffer in the women's division when the field is so much narrower?

The way to control people is to control their health care.

For anything that does not require major surgery, go herbal.

There are so many things in nature that can do the same things that pharmacologicals do that it would astound you.

I heard one time that for just about every problem that humans have, nature has a cure.

I don't know about a "cure" but nature has a way of alleviating many ailments.

I have arthritis in my neck and lower back. A friend got me on Nature’s Way Alfalfa Leaves. I gotta tell ya, if I don’t take this stuff, I have a hell of a time getting around without pain. I don’t think it will get rid of it, but it sure helps.

Yeah, until they tell you that you can’t buy them anymore under this new healthcare. Stock up.

Years ago when I first started having rotater cuff problems, someone told me to take Alfalfa. I wish I had. Thanks for reminding me about it.

Buy? LOL

If you really want herbals you should do the research and find them in the wild yourself.

Don't rely on being able to buy them.
