The Washington Examiner reports Kamala Harris built a custom studio in Washington DC at a local hotel to film the podcast recording. The Examiner says the building of that set alone cost $US100,000 to save Ms Harris time travelling from Washington to Los Angeles where the podcast host Alex Cooper resides. As part of her campaign's media push, the Democratic candidate for president made a guest appearance on the graphic sex-themed podcast and wowed everyone by not needing to use a teleprompter for the first time in her political career.
