Look close, DeSantis is already putting an Amendment for balanced budget out there. I could easily see the people getting behind a ‘congressional responsibility’ in that act. It’s not fantasy, or dreaming, it’s actually possible and the votes from the people are already there.

Trump should put forth an Amendment to the Constitution for ratification by the states for a Balanced Budget Amendment that includes stripping all Congress who fail of ability to hold future office or get Government pensions or health care.

Watch how fast Congress will be motivated for the Executive to negotiate those Tariffs.

Yet the Constitution clearly gives the Negotiations for Trade in the power of the Executive. Tariffs are trade, not taxes anymore. This prevents the executive from negotiating trade deals and doing every day diplomacy. That’s clearly executive in the Constitution.

I see both arguments as valid.

The question is how to resolve the issue, and I think that Legislative needs to allow the Executive freedom to negotiate including ‘tariffs’, rather than use the power over the military to ‘pursued’ other nations.

Well, when to much of your economy is government, shutting it down will have an effect.

When it comes to the Socialists, they promised the world, but then when the tax revenue people run away, they turned to the easiest next target. That is always the middle class and government pension holders. Every blue state should remember than.

They need to have a new way to calculate GDP.

They need to multiple deficit spending by 2 and subtract it from the total GDP for that quarter.

They need to do the same with unemployment, where employment in Federal Government jobs is not shown as employed, or unemployed. Loss of Federal Government job isn’t unemployment, and gain of a Federal Government job isn’t employment.

We do those two things and then re-evaluate the economy since 2000, we will see clear trends to help guide us forward.

Then the United States should politely remove it’s strike aircraft and support wings from ALL RAF bases. That should be an immediate and permanent removal of those personnel. Aircraft involved in other activities and fueling aircraft can remain. Let the RAF and England know that they can protect themselves and employ their own.

If I were Trump, I would be having meetings now to make this happen, then Congratulate England on what a great decisions they have made.

If that law passes, they are going to have big problems with many of their ‘people’.

Except, the Democrats had all this while Obama was in. Certainly, when Biden was POTUS they could have released it.

That doesn’t explain why they keep making up stuff about Trump if they really have stuff.

3. Still waiting for testimony that demonstrated Trump did something wrong when he asked if Biden threatened to withhold aid if they investigated his kid.
4. Still waiting for the ‘evidence’ that Trump called for an attack on the Capital building.

I have now seen evidence that Obama used the intelligence agencies to smear Trump. I have seen evidence that Schiff lied, and used the CIA to attack Trump. I have seen evidence that Biden threatened Ukraine to stop investigating his son’s money donor. I have seen evidence that the Biden’s, via the laptop, were involved in pay to play.

All I have seen from the Democrats is lies about Trump, all proven later to be lies, to distract from Criminal Democrat behavior. Why should I believe this time that Trump is dirty when he is obviously the one that turned in Epstein?

Politicians, many of them, lust power and money more than anything else. When you make stupid policies that destroy jobs, pilfer the treasury, devalue the currency, and alienate citizens you have to have a backup position.

They realized that many Americans won’t vote for Democrats because of the above. Therefore, they decided to get somebody who will and ‘just like that’ the border was open.

Balanced Budget Amendment is the only way to save the Republic, IMHO.

Anybody who is against it, and I haven’t heard a rational reason not to have it, seems to want the opposite that the nation requires to maintain a Constitutional Republic.

We the People need a Balanced Budget Amendment.

In that Amendment, spending cannot exceed tax income (not Tariff income) from the year prior. If it does:
1. Everyone in the Senate and House of Representatives is ineligible for Federal Government jobs or Re-election to either.
2. Become ineligible for any Federal Government pensions associated with serving in either House.
3. Lose all lifetime Health Care benefits.

That should fix it all in about 72 months or less.
