The jury foreperson in Lindsay Clancy’s high-stakes triple murder trial detailed just how close the panel was to finding the killer mom not guilty by reason of insanity until one “arrogant” male holdout juror blocked the verdict.
“He admitted he had reasonable doubt after we watched the video of the interview,” the female juror told NBC 10 Boston in an interview with two other women jury members.
“I started filling out forms, I was so excited,” the woman said.
“There were three forms I had to fill out and I started filling them out, I wrote my signature on each one but then he said, ‘But I’m still not going to say she’s not guilty by reason of insanity.’”
One of the three was named Paula and is a former government contractor. Another, Kelly, is a chef in Plymouth, and the foreperson, Ronnie, is a retired fifth-grade special needs teacher.
The jurors called the holdout “arrogant” for refusing to go along with the rest.
One of the jurors told the outlet that the “prosecution didn’t show enough compassion.”
“I just found it to be harsh — very, very harsh,” she said.
“The fact that they had no character witnesses in regards to Lindsay being a bad mother … I found it to be biased.”
The foreperson said all the witnesses and evidence “proved that she loved her children … so she had to have snapped.”
The trio said they found Reddington to be “entertaining,” “arrogant,” “compassionate” and “funny.”

We are so screwed.
Talk about not listenibg to the instructions!
Now three women on the jury have talked to a reporter about how bad the man was. Most of the story is them yelling at the man to change his vote! Great system you have there!
People like her think they’re superior to people with common sense and moral values.
And one of the jurors told the court that Lindsey didn't show enough compassion.
Yep these are the women that vote..the typical white, commie abortion til birth and beyond women who were OH SO DARN EXCITED To let a cold blooded killer just walk free..and they still call her a “mother” NO, she lost that title when she strangled her CHILDREN..thats like calling the Menendez Brothers orphans or OJ Simpson a widow
Consensus craving seahags find male holdout “arrogant”, big surprise.
"Hold until relieved!"
if you remove the spin from the first sentence you get:
“the panel led by the jury foreperson was close to finding the killer mom not guilty by reason of insanity with eleven “arrogant” jurors determined to pervert justice until one male holdout juror blocked the verdict.”
Doesn’t matter if she snapped or not - she ADMITTED TO MURDERING HER THREE CHILDREN after sending their dad on fool’s errands to keep him away long enough.
That’s literally premeditation.
Murder 1, x 3.
Kill her, raise her, kill her, raise her, and kill her again.
In Massachusetts, women can abort their children up until birth...and after.
Ouch!
This trial was a BFD and I admire the lone juror for sticking to his guns, regardless of his vote.
We ask a jury to sit and give an honest opinion. I respect the man who’d by his opinion as much as those others who disagreed. It’s suppose to unanimous, it wasn’t. Nobody should assign ‘blame’ to someone who believed she was guilty or to those that thought innocent.
DEI on steroids.
Women want to be excused for their actions since they have seen how successful certain people have been excused boo deadly crimes because of their skin color.
Let us kill for ‘just cause’.
Just ‘cause we want to.
One man and eleven ex wives......
“But....but....muh feelings!”
’ the “prosecution didn’t show enough compassion.”
“I just found it to be harsh — very, very harsh,”
What do you expect? It was a murder trial. Prosecutors are supposed to be harsh.
Perry Mason would have had a hard time with this jury.
He held the line all right.
