The people of Egypt stood up against the Muslim Brotherhood, but the people of Libya and Syria haven’t done so well.”

The conversation is predictably moving toward leftist “whirled peas” points of view. BBC has brought on a woman from Tampa who just wants us to all get along and can’t understand why all the hate.

Another professorial type (likely stroking his beard as he speaks in soft dulcet tones) is blah-blah-blahing in hushed, “considered” monotone.

Kristinn steps in with facts - violence is way down in the US and there is no cultural call for the murder of gays in the US except coming from Islam, and there are several Islamic states that do call for death to gays.

“And that’s where Omar Mateen would get his murderous impulses.”

Kristinn is interrupted by the host, who quite evidently is very liberal, and jumps all over Kristinn for his views, but Kristinn persists, undeterred by her attempt to step on him.

The academic joins in, saying condescendingly, “Bless his (Kristinn’s) heart.”
The discussion is becoming heated. Kristinn is holding his own, but the host interrupts and brings in KT from Tampa again, who is defending our government’s attempts to sit down and have conversations — “We need to talk in our society about how we are allowing hate to grow.’

OMG...

Rush is like someone whose dearly beloved has just died. All he wants to do is talk about him. He's in bereavement. Working through the grief.

But wouldn’t you expect that Trump, being the successful international businessman that he is, already knows all this?

It’s in his wheelhouse. He doesn’t need to “get his feet wet” on it, especially this.

You could be right about his limited understanding about other legislative/parliamentary politics issues, but THIS isn’t one of them.

I will vote for Trump in the general (assuming he will get the nomination), but I’m perplexed as to why he keeps repeating the same line about slapping tariffs on air conditioners, etc.

It’s not as though he doesn’t know better.

Or its something ELSE. And if it is something else, what is it???

I maintain that outlets like FOX News LIE by omission, by what they DON’T tell you.

Could Rush be doing the same, on purpose???

Trump needs to make it (regulatory bastardization) a centerpiece of his discussion of attracting and keeping American businesses here. If he’s said it, I didn’t catch it, and I watch probably 70% of his live rallies and tv interviews.

If he’s saying it, he’s not saying it enough. He needs to spell out the big picture — how it is happening, who is behind it, and why. It’s not that complicated. And American people need and deserve to hear more than “I’m gonna slap a 35% tariff on every air conditioner, every Oreo cookie, every Ford vehicle...etc”.

That’s the sloppiness about Trump that I don’t like. He needs to be more precise — tell the people PRECISELY why these companies are leaving.

And then work into that the slave labor — the illegals — and how that all plays into the problem.

I see you “get it”. I just wish Rush would hammer it more often, and I REALLY wish Trump would get his message straightened out.

It frustrates me to hear Trump talk about how he’s going to impose a tariff on businesses that are already under the gun. It’s wrong and it’s misleading.

As for this going on going back to previous administrations — I completely agree. And Obama has taken that and — like everything else he’s done with the loosely worded legislation passed by cowardly Congresses — he has had his army of lawyers and regulators stretch the language to accommodate their Marxist/globalist objectives.

Well, it’s about time.

And it’s the FIRST time I’ve heard him say it.

I want to add that Obama has deliberately and with forethought pushed the regulatory agencies to make it SO burdensome for our companies/corporations/manufacturing industries to stay here. Reason?

To push these companies OUTSIDE of our borders and become more global. It’s all part of his globalist plan. It accomplishes other objectives:

1. Weakens our economy
2. Raises the number of unemployed (now at nearly 94 million out of work), thus making more Americans dependent on the government.
3. Government dependency makes it easier to control/own the masses.

It’s all part of a plan, one that neither TRUMP or RUSH are acknowledging or being honest about.

(and for the record, I voted for Trump in the FL primary, so I have no axe to grind)

This reply is really for all who are reading this.

1st: We are losing companies to offshore locations because of federal regulations that make it impossible for them to thrive. The Obama Marxist policies implemented by the regulatory agencies are what’s choking our industries’ ability to prosper. Trump is wrong, and so is Rush. Trump should NOT be attaching fiscal penalties to our companies, but instead going after the regulatory agencies doing damage to our economy.

2nd: Boehner’s comments about Cruz are shared by 99% of the people in DC. “He would throw his own mother under the bus if it helped him...” is what I’ve been told by someone on the inside. I’ve seen it for myself. Cruz has been planning his run for President since before he ran for US Senate. Ever the opportunist, he saw the growing tea party movement and calculated how he could ride that wave into Washington. He is known as a liar and hypocrite on Capitol Hill by all who know him — detested by staffers and elected representatives alike.

Why, thank you! I humbly submit that I was simply reposting the brilliance of KT McFarland, but if that gets me kudos from this august crew, I’ll take it — with gratitude!

I thought just the opposite... she was friendly, non-confrontational, but would NOT let Rush put words in her mouth. I was cheering her on!

If that’s so, then she was very good at it. She blocked Rush at every move.

This woman caller has Rush flummoxed. I love it!

Deliberately. Rush using wordplay to slip and slide his way through the call. Who’s he fooling? Not us.

Rush is exasperated because he has no place to go with this. It’s pretty evident he’s NOT in Trump’s corner, and he KNOWS that if Trump is robbed in the crooked delegate process, there will be HELL TO PAY. And he can’t afford to say so.

So... what’s he to do? He wants Cruz, and knows that if Cruz gets the nomination (however doubtful) there will be a sh!tstorm the likes of which we haven’t seen in our lifetimes.

Rush = Caught between a rock and a hard place. And losing listeners each and every day.
