AND NOW... amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke... it is time for... that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-The-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he's not retiring until every American agrees with him - do NOT doubt him - with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that's Rush, for those in Rio Linda), the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back - just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America's anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A real man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do - host. Get ready to what you were born to do - listen. And post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread.
Yeah i get it now,you have a good point.
When you are arguing the rules, vs. a principle, you’ve lost.
Jesus pointed this out by cricizing the Pharisees, who were rules-obsessed, but ignored the spirit of the Law.
Rush is going to bully any caller he has to just to make his case for Cruz especially in a case where trump comes up short of 1,237.
On the other hand Rush does have a case that the conservative voters are fed up with conservatives being trashed by the gop-e.
Amazing to listen to Rush now NOT answering this caller’s question but talking about the delegate process.
He’s masterful at obfuscating the real question, isn’t he? Wow, Rush. You’re losing ground FAST.
Good stuff to watch during Rush’s obscene profit break.

RUSH COMPLETELY OWNED BY FIRST CALLER MIKE! HE MISSES CALLER’S POINT
The caller had a great question
I think Rush needs to restock his supply of Reynolds wrap. He used it all up last Friday making a giant hat.
Rush is exasperated because he has no place to go with this. It’s pretty evident he’s NOT in Trump’s corner, and he KNOWS that if Trump is robbed in the crooked delegate process, there will be HELL TO PAY. And he can’t afford to say so.
So... what’s he to do? He wants Cruz, and knows that if Cruz gets the nomination (however doubtful) there will be a sh!tstorm the likes of which we haven’t seen in our lifetimes.
Rush = Caught between a rock and a hard place. And losing listeners each and every day.
“RUSH COMPLETELY OWNED BY FIRST CALLER MIKE! HE MISSES CALLERS POINT”
Deliberately. Rush using wordplay to slip and slide his way through the call. Who’s he fooling? Not us.
Exactly the same thought I had. The guy was arguing the rightness of it, and what peoples’ responses would likely be, and Rush deflected by immediately going to the legalism of it.
That’s not the point. If the parties are not responsive to the people, the people will leave, and all this blathering on about the rules isn’t going to stop that.
I’d rather read the comments here than listen to Rush. Used to listen all the time.
And yet Sean Hannity somehow maintains his even handedness ... Rush is heading for the ramp and his water skis aren't even fastened.
And please Mr. Bigshot Limbaugh, splain it one more time. Us common folks are slow learners.
really good!
That’s a pretty good analysis its right on.
That’s a very good point Rush is headed to number two-ville behind Sean who has maintained his objectivity.
I use the “e” designation, is that I want to emphasize the “elite” or “establishment” aspect of the GOP and yes they are part of the Uniparty.
Fifty years ago, more than a year after I had completed my active duty military obligation to this nation, I was allowed to register to vote. At the time I lived in NYC. We had a Rep. Gov. - Nelson Rockefeller, a Rep. Sen - Jacob K. Javits and a Rep. Mayor - John V. Lindsay. Is there any wonder why I registered as an independent voter?
Before that, in the late 50s, my parents were members (and my mother an officer) of the neighborhood Republican Club. The crap that went on there also influenced my decision. Mom was secretary/treasurer of the Club. The President wanted her to issue checks that she refused to sign off on. He told her to issue the checks or turn over the checkbook and seal. She handed them over and both she and Dad left the party.
PS, my father insisted before I registered, that I read “None Dare Call It Treason.”
LOL! Talk down to us some more, Rush. That’s the way to keep listeners.
