Regarding the china.... For whatever it's worth, there is a great place called Replacements, Ltd. (located in Greensboro, NC but you can get their info at their website) where one can sell their old china or replace any broken pieces for the china set they want to keep. They also have glassware and silverware.

The euro is backed by precious metals (gold, etc.). The Federal Reserve Notes (USDollar) are NOT backed by precious metals. Hopefully, the new US currency (backed by precious metals) will be announced here in the US prior to January 1, 2002, as our major banks have been prepared for since June or July of this year. Many people in high positions do not want the new currency to be announced.

Wow! This is one of the best articles I've read in a LONG time!!! So proud to see someone take a stand for the right!!!! Yes, I know what I'm talking about, with a gay in my extended family currently dying of AIDS directly due to his chosen lifestyle!!! They should be kept away from the Boys Scouts and from teaching our children!!!!!!! It was planned about 40 years ago (according to various articles I've read) that the "racial issue" and the "homosexual issue" would be two of many issues used to deliberately destroy our country's morals and fiber and to create division and chaos!!

So, if all these Middle Easterners (Saudi Arabians or otherwise) were ACTUALLY on the planes, WHY are there NO Middle Eastern type names on the manifests (that you can find on CNN's website)?

As the old saying goes: The power to tax is the power to

destroy. With that in mind, Congress is poised to

destroy the Internet as you and I know it.

On Sunday, October 21, 2001, a moratorium which prohibits

government from taxing the Internet will expire.

Originally imposed in 1998, reports the Associated Press,

the moratorium "prohibits taxes on Internet access and

bans any tax that singles out the Internet." If the

moratorium expires, the barn door to Internet taxation

will be thrown WIDE open to politicians who see a honey-pot

of new tax revenue they just won't be able to resist

dipping their paws into.

"Internet taxes are simply a way for incompetent governors

taxpayers outside of their districts," says Grover

Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform. "The

practice is tantamount to taxation without representation,

is unconstitutional, and is a fraud widely recognized by

Americans all across the country."

On Tuesday, the Republican-controlled House passed

H.R. 1552, an extension of the ban for an additional two

years, and sent the bill over to the Senate. On Thursday,

the Democrat-controlled Senate refused to pass the

extension before adjourning for the weekend.

That means the moratorium will indeed expire on Sunday.

"Starting Monday, there's an opportunity for considerable

mischief," said Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.).

Indeed there is. Especially under the current economic

conditions, with governments at all levels scrambling to

find new money to fund new programs rather than set

spending priorities and cut wasteful spending. But

that's an argument for another day.

The Senate is scheduled to reconvene on Tuesday, October

23, 2001 to wrap up lingering business before adjourning

for the year. If the Senate fails to reconsider its

position, you're going to see the biggest camel's

tax-nose under you're e-tent since Al Gore invented the

Internet.

There's no time to waste. Please contact your two U.S.

senators IMMEDIATELY by signing the "Permanent Ban on

Internet Taxes" petition at

urging them to vote in favor of S. 777

to "extend the moratorium enacted by the Internet Tax

Freedom Act." Then get everyone on your e-mail list to do

the same.

Final Note: Many of you will recall an e-mail that has

been circulating for a long time falsely claiming that

Congress was prepared to pass bill 602(P) to impose taxes

on the Internet. It was a hoax (congressional bills

aren't even numbered that way). But it fooled a LOT of

people.

This one, folks, is NOT a hoax. It's a real threat.

But don't take my word for it. Go to the official

congressional web site at http://thomas.loc.gov and look

up S. 777 for yourself. Then immediately go to our web

site and fire off this petition to your senators before they

go home. There's no time to lose!

"I smell a rat. The post says that the amendment "authorizes" the FAA to permit pilots to carry guns. Doesn't this seem to mean that the decision to carry is being left to the FAA? WELL, PILOTS HAVE TOLD ME THAT THE FAA IS THE ENTITY KEEPING ANY WEAPONS OUT OF THEIR HANDS NOW."

In the past 4 weeks I've read somewhere something along these lines...that someone in the pilots union found out that FAA has been authorized to permit pilots to carry firearms all along....however, all the pilots that were asked said they had never heard that before. Apparently the FAA didn't WANT the pilots to be armed. Help, somebody!! Was that posted on FR or did I read that elsewhere?

It would depend on the person, irregardless of gender. But generally speaking, I strongly prefer to see a man in any high position. Yes, I'm a strong woman myself but truly enjoy the male vs. female differences, be they subtle or obvious. I am strong (confident) enough in myself to not have the need to be president just to prove a point.

Were I not aware of a somewhat similar circumstance, I'd probably find it really hard to believe what you just posted. My parents know a man who has shared a lot of what really goes on in high politics. This man was in a meeting in New York at some point prior to the first time Clinton was "elected" President (it may have been before Clinton even ran, I can't recall). It seems that there were some Rockefellers there. At any rate, at the end of the meeting everybody was told to shake hands with the next President of the United States, whose position had just been bought - Bill Clinton. (I've read somewhere on the Net that Bill's actual father is one of the Rockefellers, either John II or John III, I think. However, I have not taken the time to try to confirm it.)

Please don't think you are too far-out. I had had very similar thoughts. In dealing with these terrorists, it pays to think "outside the box".

Just talked to my brother and sister-in-law, who went to the Charlotte race today. They said there were helicopters flying overhead all day at the race and they were told the helicopters were there for protection. They said that the Afghanistan attack was announced over the loud speakers just prior to the start of the race, and that everyone was standing up, cheering, shouting "USA, USA".

I agree about 150%. However, most people either don't want to know more or cannot handle knowing more, or simply choose to believe everything as is told on national TV.

On Saturday, 09/15/01, there was a bomb threat around noon at the local mall (in central North Carolina). I know because I was there. Everybody (customers and employees alike) had to evacuate. There were a couple firetrucks and about two dozen police cars. Everybody was in a state of panic, especially since WTC had just happened 4 days prior. I was never able to find out whether there was in fact a REAL bomb planted, as there was no mention of anything on the news.

Received this (via a trusted friend) from a reporter in Hawaii. I prefer to not disclose the reporter's identity. I post this excerpt here without comment.

Very well said!!!! We the People need to keep an eye on those in Washington, especially during this time of emotional upheaval!!! And as for the ID card with the implanted chip, this is all simply leading up to the Mark of the Beast referred to in Revelation in the Bible. I suggest that every single American strongly oppose the ID card. It will do absolutely NOTHING to deter the BAD people, IMHO!!
