During an interview with Michigan’s Fox 17 WXMI on Friday, 2024 Democratic vice presidential candidate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) stated that Americans are better off economically than they were four years ago.
Fox 17 Special Projects and Investigative Producer Ilene Gould asked, “On Tuesday, during the debate, the first question was, to the vice president, are Americans better off than they were four years ago, regarding the economy? She didn’t necessarily directly answer that question, and I want to give you a chance, what’s your response?”

I was at the grocery store about an hour ago. My bill was $93 and i did not buy a single piece of meat. As i’m checking out i shake my head and say, “Unreal!!”. I’m familiar with the woman at the register- she’s always at this Shop Rite i go to and she’s always working.
She says, “did you watch the debate the other night?” I kind of grunt. She says, “she looked a little smoother than he did but i’m not sold on either of them.” I reply, “One has a track record of success, she is part of this problem!!”
It was like i gave her the green light. She says, “They keep telling us the economy is doing great but i don’t see it!!! Prices are out of control. I’m always here working and i can barely make ends meet. And they need to fix the border!!”
This was in an uber liberal section of NY. She’s voting for Trump.

A sad story I am sure is repeated all over the country in various ways.
I hope there will be a way found to help you provide the classes somehow.
My experience is that stuff costs more and I send more Income Tax into the Treasury.
Much less savings to be able to be self sufficient going forward.

Americans do not like being flat out lied to their face, and Americans are well aware they are not better off economically than they were four years ago. There are endless video testimonials to that fact.
Of course, wealthy politicians are better off as they continue to increase their wealth at our expense.
