As a vanity, this qualifies as my political prediction for the 2028 presidential race. Rohit Khanna, aka Ro Khanna is the Dem rep for their 17th district. I was listening to Fox News on Sirius this AM and heard him interviewed. Not sure who from what network did the interview, but I think it was Fox. Point is, he came across as rational, moderate, sincere, well-spoken, intelligent, personable, and willing to criticize the existing Democrat party, end-to-end. (Dare I say clean and articulate?) He is of Indian descent. He could give Vivek Ramaswamy a good fight for who is the...

Every election we hear about how the Democrats have outraised the opposition, or how Kamala has a $1.5B [magic] war chest. I do wonder, actually EXPECT the Democrat donations to plummet with the death/exposure/restrictions on the the grift and money laundering. So DOGE and Trump not only help our budget and deficit but also rip the easy money away from Dem donors. Now we'll see their real $$$ support.

[vanity] - Note how bitter cold the weather is forecast to be on Monday for DC. Given the ongoing security concerns coupled with this forecast, perhaps the inauguration should be moved indoors. Feel free to watch the entire video as this guy is a really good, no global warming sort of weather dude. BUT, in the interest of your time, go to about 4:50 on the video where he shows the expected temps for Sunday and Monday. This is posted to chat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIn9svTCHY4

Some food for thought about Pres Trump's speech, customer service, and planning for contingencies. 1. Last night during his speech Pres Trump pointed out that so far $6.1M had been raised for the three affected families. He also pulled out a physical check (not a personal check) for $1M. He said softly "thanks Dan." I *do* wonder if the Dan of that donation is Dan Bongino. Dan's there at the RNC; he's a personal friend-acquaintance of Mr. Trump with access; and this is the kind of thing Dan can now do due to his success. 2. For years I have...

FYI, on both the Android app and on this PC, Rumble.com is totally unresponsive, no 404 error either. Just in time for the debate, eh? Working for anyone else? And yes, I rebooted both the phone and the PC, and I am on a VPN.

I apparently accidentally edited my tagline. Been here nearly 25 years and haven't (deliberately) edited that tagline in two decades I have NO recollection of how to DELIBERATELY edit one's tagline. How do you edit your tagline.

ATLANTA (AP) — Gov. Brian Kemp signed legislation Tuesday that makes additional changes to Georgia's election laws ahead of the 2024 presidential contest in the battleground state, including defining probable causes for removing voters from the rolls when their eligibility is challenged. Republican activists — fueled by debunked theories of a stolen election — have challenged more than 100,000 voters in the state in recent years. The activists say they are rooting out duplicate records and removing voters who have moved out of state.

[VANITY] - Recently there have been a number of posts with lots of comments about the potentiality, plausibility, probability, impact and response to a domestic terror attack, likely perpetrated by members of the R3ligion of P3ace, assisted by other well-funded state-sponsored enablers who have recently flowed across our open southern border (read CHINESE). The purpose of this post is twofold: (1) to refer you to a short, compelling, spot-on novella about a domestic terror attack and the local response. It's chilling and sadly even more plausible given recent events and national circumstances. If you have children or grandchildren in school...

USN Special Warfare Captain (Ret) Hung Cao is running for Senate in VA. Great ad. Worth your time as he sets the stage as a refugee from Viet Nam and his love for America - along with his grave concerns about the looming loss of freedoms. This is not an excerpt or a quote because the link has no text - just the video.

INTRO: this document quotes a former DNI (someone who would know) pointing out how extraordinarily unlikely it is an Airman 1st in IT could obtain this leaked information on his own. Author makes a good case he was fed the docs. Presuming these docs were only available in a SCIF and required access to the SIPRNET, I find the author's closing sentence(s) to be spot on -- "It will be interesting to see what is found on print logs, and security video, and file transfer logs. " SCIF/SIPRNET logs don't lie. but people do. Excerpt follows. "Despite working in information...

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - What was supposed to be a fun opening weekend for Six Flags Over Georgia turned violent after a string of fights broke out inside the park. FOX 5 has learned a large group of teens were removed from the park Saturday night after multiple brawls. According to the park, several groups of young people got into fights in more than one area of the theme park. "Their actions disrupted the park experience for our guests and violated our park policies; as a result, those involved were removed from the property," officials with Six Flags Over Georgia...

I am posting this article, which isn't new news in order to illustrate two important facts: (1) the USAF and USSF have the means to both intercept telemetry from foreign intelligence assets AND the ability to stop said assets from 'phoning home.' (2) despite the junk news and pontificating by 'media experts' I am confident our military took the steps necessary to protect our nation. In my professional life I work closely with USAF and USSF personnel and despite idiocy from political leadership, I know the Commands, Airmen and Guardians who work in the area of 'intel' are skilled and...

In order to improve real-world firearm accessibility primarily in-vehicle and also 'dismounted,' I seek to acquire a decent quality, maybe even leather, shoulder holster rig for my full frame SIG p220. I also want it to have the 2-mag pouch on the other side for well, extra mags AND to balance the weight of a loaded P220, which is non-trivial. It needs to have the straps that secure the rig to one's belt, as I have tried other holsters without them that just don't work for my heavy SIGs. They do work just fine for my much smaller XDS. I...

Re-posting in compliance with FR rules (we regret the error) Last time I posted with the title lifted from the URL as opposed to the Daily Mail's posted article, which is QUITE long. Got busted. Excerpt follows: "The teenage gunman who killed two people and injured seven others at a school in St. Louis has been named as a former student, it was revealed tonight. Orlando Harris, 19, was dressed entirely in black when he entered his former high school on Monday morning - shooting dead a female teacher and a teenage girl before being killed by police. He burst...

Laughable article from the Associated Press, trying to sell the idea that GOP (i.e. conservatives) are reluctant to vote. Oh please, here in GA the Reds have shown record turnout in early voting. The fact people didn't respond enthusiastically to Kelly Loeffler and crew is NOT any indication of low energy. MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) — On a crisp fall morning, eager volunteers fanned out in the leafy suburban Atlanta neighborhood to knock on doors, trying to persuade reluctant and skeptical conservatives to register to vote in next month's midterm elections. It’s painstaking work anywhere, but especially pivotal in battleground Georgia,...

Events happened in Gwinnett County GA. The non-BIPOC kid murdered was a local HS football star out with friends at Dave and Busters, after leaving his session with his personal trainer. The personal trainer worked with my daughter on strength and speed, prior to her NCAA trophy-winning stint in ACTUAL womens' swimming. Posted 11:21AM on Friday 7th October 2022 ( 19 hours ago ) Police charge Lawrenceville teens in death of Jefferson High School student SHARETWEET By Rob Moore Reporter Kemare Bryan, 18, and Chander Richardson, 19, both of Lawrenceville are in custody in Anderson, S.C., charged in the death...

The article is nothing new, BUT! ... I noticed something in the movie (OK, OK, I bought a copy and have watched it several times) I believe is worth mentioning: Towards then end there's a shot (likely in the Hollywood version of the CIC) where you see Hondo's left shoulder, and the patch he is wearing is the First Navy Jack patch, otherwise known as the Gadsden flag, complete with the snake. This scene occurs when Hangman is told not to launch, no search and rescue, etc. It's only visible for a few frames, but it's a nice touch. Also,...

A week or so ago a FReeper fired up a post predicting a Labor Day weekend potent hurricane for the GOM (Gulf of Mexico). Well lo and behold there's a system out east that the NHC is forecasting/hyping to be near the US just in time. There's also a 'disturbance' about the depart the west coast of Africa on the tails of the first one. Just in time for September, eh?

Here's the net - 'vaccines" kinda work, but there is no need to continue with successive boosters, and there is good science to support this.' because of how the COVID "vaccines" work, the more you are 'vaccinated' and boosted the more likely you are to be infected, reinfected, and transmit COVID-XX. The article doesn't recommend against the initial vaccine, except for young people, but does present the logical conclusion : "There is no need to continue with successive boosters." This is actual peer-reviewed science, published in the peer-reviewed SCIENCE journal and medrxiv. The two studies supporting this conclusion are: (1)...

[Vanity] I'd like to listen to his RADIO show from today since he said Kurt Schlichter would be guest hosting. I like Dan, and I love Schlichter. Any clues where to go to listen to recordings of his radio shows?
